Something i thought id throw out there. Was talking about P Thomas and his second half against the bills last season with a buddy and i went back and had a look at the game log. He racked up:

126 yds and 2 TDs on 14 touches in just under 28 mins

Impressive i thought but im sure there are more impressive feats out there.

some that come to mind are JCharles and J harrison from late in the season

J Charles had 259 yds and 2 TDs in about 3 quarters

Harrison in about 28 mins had 214 yds and 3 tds

it is cherry picking at its finest so lets hear them

Fun idea.

We have pbp back to 2002. In that time, the biggest 10-clock-minute explosions are:

MJD against the Titans in week 9 of this year. He had 172 rushing yards and 2 TDs in a 10-minute period near the end of the first, beginning of the second.

Lee Evans against the Texans at the start of week 11 of 2006. Two 83 yard TD catches, and added a 17-yard catch for good measure. 3/180/2.

In week 7 of 2007, between 10:48 and 0:57 of the fourth quarter, Sage Rosenfels went 14-of-21 for 228 and 3 TDs.

Tom Brady was 19/23/311/5 in a 20-minute period in that rout against the Titans this past year.

In week 14 of 2003, Clinton Portis went 11/188/3 in a 20-minute period near the beginning of the second half.

The first two games that came to mind were actually Lee Evans against the Texans and MJD against the Titans. Go me!The most amazing thing about that MJD explosion was that it came over the course of 5 carries. He wound up finishing the day with 177 yards on just 8 carries because Jack Del Rio, for some reason that no one will ever understand, decided to abandon the run when down 3-0 with 8 minutes left in the first quarter.

Didn't Shaun Alexander have 5 TDs in a half on Sunday Night Football against the Vikings in 2002? I also remember a game with the Chiefs and Falcons where Priest Holmes scored 4 times in the first half and Derrick Blaylock scored 4 times in the second half in 2004.

Definite yes to Alexander. I was at that game, it was great.

Both Holmes and Blaylock wound up with 4 TDs that day, but one of Blaylock's came in the 2nd quarter. The order was sub-optimal, although KC as a team scored 5 rushing TDs in 23 minutes (and Holmes individually had 4 of them). The first Denver/SD game this year featured 3 return TDs in 18 minutes. Devin Hester had two return TDs in 11 minutes against Denver in 2007. Chicago scored 3 D/ST TDs in 12 and a half minutes against Arizona in the "They are who we thought they were" game.

Brandon Marshall, 1st quarter at Washington Redskins.... 2009

2 receptions, 115 yards, 2 TD's. And throw in an end-around run for 9.
