Lacy looks the part of an NFL RB more than anyone else - moreso than even pre-injury Lattimore IMO.I'll say this about Lacy--I usually watch complete cut-ups but I like to watch highlights as well to see the best a player can do all at once.
And Lacy is the only RB whose highlight reel, to me, actually looks like the highlight reel of a future star in the NFL. He does all the little things that a guy his size, with his power, usually doesn't do. And its so subtle that it can be hard to pick up on unless you're switching between prospects and realize how much he looks like an NFL player out there already, in comparison to everyone else coming out (except for how he holds the ball sometimes, but that's a minor quibble and fixable).
I say this as someone who, in relation to the general Shark Pool population, is "eh" on Gio, is high on Randle, and loves pre-injury Knile if he can get back to that. But Lacy is already a top-15 runner in the NFL before ever stepping on the field, and that's off the top of my head and being conservative. He's a complete back, although underutilized in the passing game in college.
Tavon Austin for me as well. His skill set may not translate to NFL stardom or top flight fantasy production, but the guy is a lot of fun to watch play. Andrew Hawkins made my jaw drop a few times this year, and Tavon looks like he should be a similar player but on the next level talent wise. I'm hoping he's drafted into a good offense with a creative OCTavon AustinI don't know what kind of fantasy player he'll be but I can't wait to see him play on Sundays. Should be a blast to watch.
Choo-choo, get the bandwagon fired fired!Patterson.Only true potentially game breaking talent in the class.

I very highly doubt teams are worried about his footwork/agility/quickness - he made people miss at a very high rate, including in tight spaces. I understand Bama's line was one of the best in recent memory, but there is plenty footage of him making people miss, and making something out of nothing. If he can run/perform at his pro-day, it won't matter. Teams use their own times anyway. I could see some teams wanting a 40 number, but I don't think his draft stock greatly depends on it. He had plenty of long runs against the fastest defenses in the nation.Interesting with Lacy, that he'll likely drop lower than his value due to not working out at the combine. I hear lots of NFL teams were hoping to view his lateral agility skills relative to the other backs. At Alabama Lacy had 5 yards every play before contact which didn't require him to be shifty in tight spaces. That's the only big knock I hear on him. If he's going to be a top second round pick teams will have to be sold that he's got the wiggle necessary to be successful in the NFL.
in that vein, I an not wait to see Denard Robinson come in as someone's 6th round pick and tear it up as a KR, PR or slot WR, scatback RB and just touch the ball, make a move and go to the house.....BTW, Tom Brady SUKKKKKKKED at the combine.peaceTerrance Williams, but I am a homer
You'll catch up. Unless you really believe there's nothing to be excited about here. Which I think is a little crazy and taking the almost anti-hype of this draft way too far.none of them.

They were also high on Russel and Leaf and not high on Brady and Terrell Davis.Someone in this draft will be beastly, a couple will, it how it works. Also, to show how much more the know nothings know, they were not high on Morris AT ALL!Also, a lot of know nothings here to think Lacy, Geno, Patterson, Eifert are nothing. Yup good call! Comical.none of them.
Really interested in him. I actually like the depth a lot at WR in this class.I think Da'Rick Rogers has as much athleticism as anyone in this draft. Yeah, I know he has character red flags, but that could provide a lot of value. He won't hurt my fantasy team's locker room.
This is going to be a memorable TE class. Gronk, graham, Hernandez will have competition. Tyler EifertZach ErtzJordan ReedDion SimsTravis KelceA couple of these guys will end up absolute must start fantasy studs. Im sure I'm missing some guys here.Travis Kelce, TE

They were also high on Russel and Leaf and not high on Brady and Terrell Davis.Well, to be fair, hundreds of experts spread across 32 teams, including scouts and general managers, the latter of whom get paid millions of dollars to evaluat talent and discern signal from noise, these guys all missed on Brady and TD, as well. Not sure why you're singling out Mayock and Kiper as know-nothings.'Phenix said:You'll catch up. Unless you really believe there's nothing to be excited about here. Denard is an interesting cat, maybe a slightly more talented Randle El type, but I'm not expecting anything more than that. (FWIW, Randle El was one of my all-time favorite players)'teamramrod said:'TheFatKid said:Terrance Williams, but I am a homer
