Psychic Sally Morgan exposed (1 Viewer)

isn't so "psychic" . :lmao: : :lmao: :lmao: I hate these scam artists so freaking much.

With her astonishing psychic powers, Sally Morgan really should have seen this coming…

But the mystic to the stars was left embarrassed when a woman in a photograph she was passing messages from the spirit world about turned out to be sitting in front of her – alive.

The stage blunder had the audience in stitches, according to blogger Myles Power.

He said: “People can submit photographs of dead loved ones, in the hope Sally gives a psychic reading.

"Sally pulled out a photo of a woman. She began communicating from beyond the grave with a man holding a baby .

“She got in contact with the woman in the photo.

"When she got no response from the audience, she asked whoever submitted it to stand up.

"It turned out the woman got the concept of submitting a picture of someone to talk to wrong, and submitted one of herself.

"The hall erupted in laughter. She was unable to get the audience back.”

Flustered Sally, 62, swiftly moved on after the incident at Middlesbrough.

Her agent Hayley Appleby claimed others gave a different version of events and were upset by the blog.

She said: “It’s someone’s opinion.”

I don't mind psychics who do nothing but console people who have lost loved ones by "communicating" with them. If the end result of their "scam" is that it helps gullible people move on from a tragic loss, then there's no real harm.

But psychics like Sylvia Browne who have in the past told mothers of kidnapping victims that their children were dead only for them to eventually be found, are the scummiest of people out there.

:grad: :hifive:

My wife's aunt has a psychic she has been going to for years. She says this woman has told her things that no one else could know and that she can communicate with the dead, see the future, etc. A few years back my wife's uncle died of a sudden aneurysm.

The psychic didn't see that coming but now routinely communicates him...

Here's something to think about: How come you never see a headline like 'Psychic Wins Lottery'?

I guess it depends what they charge. But if the end result of a session is someone being able to move on from the death of a loved one, that's probably worth it to a lot of people.

But it's a lie. They take money and make things up. Anyone can learn to do a cold read with some practice. It's a con job. Shouldn't be legal to charge for this "service".

If you think a psychic can actually predict the future or communicate with the dearly departed, then I have some bad news for you. You're wasting your money. These folks are consummate scam artists who utilise the power of suggestion and lucky guesses to make you think they know more than they do.

I understand it's a lie. But to me the end result is people being able to move on after a tragic loss when they may not have been able to otherwise. I don't see the problem there unless they're charging loads of money or don't refund when they #### up.

The Long Island Medium is a good example. She only charges something like $200 a session, only deals with "communicating" with loved ones, and people come out of her sessions able to move on. Obviously if you know better, this type of service wont help you at all, but there are a lot of gullible people out there.

Psychics like Sylvia Browne are the real scumbags. Whenever she "helps" law enforcement, or tells people that missing loved ones are for sure dead, it makes me sick. That's where the lie of being a psychic can cause true harm.

She is still helping? Maybe she is a real psychic

It's capitalism.

Just about everyone is preying on someone else for money. The more benign of the woo-woo shakedown set aren't among the most malicious or the most expensive. Yes, they're using some on-the-fly combination of cold reading, demographic stereotyping, odds, and salesman BS to separate prospects from their money.

But hey, so are plenty of financial services and insurance salesmen. And even then, I don't think that's close to the most criminally despicable thing being done for profit.

I'm a little burned out on my ability to work up rage for human beings who are willing to take advantage of other human beings for a quick dollar. It sucks that it happens, but it's pretty much institutional.

That said, if anyone wants to organize Occupy Haight-Ashbury, I'm in. We can march in Polos and chinos.

I'm crushed. First it was Miss Cleo and now Sally Morgan goes down. If this keeps up, I'm going to have to go back to seeing a regular shrink.

I don't lie to anyone to sell my product.

That goes for anyone who claims to talk to god too.
