Putting inconsistant wr in you playoff matchups. (1 Viewer)

Here you go for you crucial WIN OR GO HOME matchup and you starring at the possibility of starting the likes of:

G.Jennings

M.Austin

V.Jackson??

S.Smith

A.Boldin

just to name a few but there is so many others i could name.

Do you guys roll out your STUDS regardless or someone you may have the likes of young bucks like Harvin or old foggies like Mason who is more consistent.

I'd stick with the consistent guys. Figure out their average points and standard deviation. Go from there.

WR is a tough one for Fantasy. Other than a few guys you get quite a few clunkers. I only own Vincent Jackson out of that group & he's been tough to figure out lately. His 1st 9 weeks he was about as consistent as they come & thrown up 3 crappy games in a row. Since two of those games were not close from the start.. I plan on starting him every week & hope he goes back to his production from earlier in the year but I wouldn't disagree with benching him either if you had options..

For me it depends on what I think I'm going to need. If I have a guy who consistantly puts up good numbers and I think that's all I'll need then I would roll with him. If I have a guy who puts up 4-5 stinkers in a row but occassionally puts up monster games and I'm going in as a big time underdog then I'll roll the dice and hope he gets his monster game when I need it.

Depends on the matchups your opponent has. If he some easy ones, go with the guys who can blow up. If your opponent has tough matchups, maybe go with your more consistent guys.
