QB #2 falling to #17+ pick (1 Viewer)

All the mocks have the #2 QB drafted falling to #17 or further. Let's assume Stafford goes #1 to Detroit.

I can not believe St Louis, Seattle, and Washington would pass on Sanchez. I know they have other BIG needs to fill, but St Louis and Seattle having aging QBs that have been struggling. Washington does need an OT in a major way, but Campbell is in the final year of his contract, and he certainly hasn't proved he can be a starter in the league.

Why not take Sanchez and give him a year to learn the system while the current starter hacks it out for another year?

Explain people....

Quick answer: People don't think Sanchez is worth it.

Also, don't be surprised to see Stafford drop to the 9-12 area.

1. Bulger signed a $ 60 million contract before last year so they are going to wheel him out there for the forseeable future.

2. Hass is not done by any stretch, no reason to reach.

3. Campbell has been annointed the starter in Washington the last couple of seasons and I don't see that changing for at least 1-2 more seasons.

What about Mark Sanchez is enticing to you? I like some of what he brings to the table but the USC QB position is no sure thing in the NFL either. I don't think Sanchez is NFL ready at this moment and likely will need at least 2 years of carrying the clipboard so teams that have that luxury become better suitors.

Franchise OTs > QB prospects.

If you're going to draft a QB in the next few years, plan to keep him alive first.

If Sanchez were around in round 2, I can believe those teams taking a look at him. Even then, though, there are priorities.

Campbells career stats:

CMP ATT Yards CMP% TD INT SACK Rating

675 1130 7242 59.7 35 23 66 80.4

How has he proven that he is not a starter? I think thats not bad stats for having a bad OL and a new offensive system every year. THis coming season should be telling. He hasnt been stellar, but he has been far from horrible.

ETA: skins DEFINITELY need to grab a OL in the draft.

Skins definitely will pass on Sanchez, they will let Campbell get some more time with the West Coast and provide him with a better Oline before they give up on the guy.
