Bulger is available in mine as well. He has just been so inconsistent. However, has improved each week over the last couple, I am just not sold. We have Hill on the WW too. If Gore is a go, he may be a decent option. I agree, QB probs in the last game is not how I imagined my FF season ending. Big money too, $2k for 1st place. No pressure...I am in the same situation. I lucked out starting Orton last week in what I thought was a prime matchup for him against NO. I have been riding with Ryan all year so far but he has been mediocre at best the last couple of weeks and I think with Pat williams out that Atl will ride the Turner train and not make Ryan do to much. Orlovsky is out there on my WW and I am strongly considering starting him against NO. My other options are Farve @ Sea, Delhomme @ NYG, Fitzpatrick @ Cle, or Bulger v SF. Bulger did have a decent day last time against SF. 295 yds 2 picks and a TD. Who would of thought I would be struggling to get my starting QB going into the Championship game.
Earlier in the year when positioning for week 16 I picked up Bulger of the wire ( GO CCHS!!!) but he has been SO inconsistent I can not risk getting single digits out of my QB in the Super Bowl. My gut is really telling me that DOrlovsky is THE play for me this week but I am understandbly hesitant. (FWIW I rolled the dice on BCroyle in last years SB and was right about the match up being juicy as KC QBs put up huge numbers except it was all by Huard when Croyle got hurt early)Bulger is available in mine as well. If the weather in Seattle is bad, I am considering cutting myself and bringing Ryan off my FavreCo rookie squad for the start. I do know that I can't trust Eli with the football.I am facing the same question. I have Calvin and Roddy and I am considering Orlovsky over Ryan. Just considering...Pat Williams is out, so that make me feel a little better about Ryan, but he has had a rough few weeks. I have ridden Ryan, Turner and Roddy all the way to the finals. I should probably just roll with who brought me...I have come this far, why should I ruin it with thinking.
It's down to either Ryan or Olovsky with a small chance for Bulger with me.If the weather in Seattle is bad, I am considering cutting myself and bringing Ryan off my FavreCo rookie squad for the start. Everything I've heard is that Whisenhunt will want to build some momentum heading into the playoffs, esp. after that loss to the Vikings. Have you seen something that says Warner may not play the whole game?Considering Olovsky over Warner this week. Suppose to be ugly in New England...and Arizona may not leave Warner in for long.
Just a gut feeling, or maybe a fear that I have. Besides momentum, they have nothing else to play for.Everything I've heard is that Whisenhunt will want to build some momentum heading into the playoffs, esp. after that loss to the Vikings. What's good? As good as Drew Brees against the Lions.....hardly.Can Orlovsky put up 250 yards and 2 Td's....he's certainly got a shot. If you're talking 300 plus yards and multiple TD's, I'd say no. Despite how bad the Saints D may be, the Lions offense just isn't that good.I think they are a better team with Orlovsky at QB, but better than Cpepper isn't saying much. I guess the term "good start" is all relative on who you're comparing it to.I have Jay Cutler and Orlovsky this week and I don't think it would be a good start for me to start Orlovsky over him. I do think Orlovsky would be a good start over Matt Ryan or Flacco this week.Convince me he is not a good start this week...
Risks:I don't think it would come as a giant shock to anyone on this planet if the Lions offense laid a giant egg this week just like many have been predicting they'd do every week.In 50% of the games the lions have played this year, at least two Qbs saw action. This means even if he doesn't suck, there is still the chance his brutal OL get's him knocked out of the game.Reward:250 2 TD's.Risk <> Reward IMOConvince me he is not a good start this week...
Good = 240 yds & 2 TDs ish = $$$Obviously those of us thinking about Orlovsky do not have Brees as an option at this point.Iwannabeacowboybaby! said:What's good? As good as Drew Brees against the Lions.....hardly.Convince me he is not a good start this week...
