QB Jordan Love, GB (1 Viewer)

He wows you with some of the throws he can make. I would love to see him with a bonafide alpha WR like Tee Higgins. Not sure who calls the plays in GB, but they could use a playbook from this millennium.
Its Lafleur

And yes…Tee Higgins is a dream I hope happens for GB

Another enormous fantasy bust.

Fantasy bust?

Right now Packers have to be concerned Love is just a bust in general.

He was pretty much hurt all year, I'm not sure he ever got healthy. I don't think there is any reason to worry, yet.
GB had so many injuries leading up to and during the last game that you cannot use it to evaluate Love.
He has actually been pretty mediocre the last 11 games of the year where he had 10 TDs, 6 INTs, and averaged 204 passing yards/game. Something changed after he got injured the 5th week of the year.

yes and the coach said it went well. this freaked me out until I realized we are talking about the non-throwing hand. negative nancies are claiming Love is glass.

I really do like the aggressiveness of #JordanLove - watching him attack the deep post area in this game & he is begging for the safety to bite or hesitate so he can make that throw!!! Exactly how I played… if D gives you a chance make them pay!! Too many guys are worried about too many things & need to see it wide open!

QBs attack everything, read your keys & let it rip… it’s what the best in the world do (but they also make the right read in the process, so it’s not carelessness) & they trust their guys on the outside to do their part!!

This offense is just begging for one of those WRs to take a step forward and assert themselves as the WR1. But based on last night this might be a passing offense that runs through Kraft for the foreseeable future, especially with Reed banged up now.

It's simply matter of finding the right time to peak in time for post-season run. While I acknowledge that it takes time for Love to develop chemistry and timing with his new rookie WR, I'm sure they will get it done toward latter end of the season. Green Bay Packers are truly all-in (unlike their newly prized edge rusher's former team owner).

This might sound a little off, but undoing that logjam at WR might not be the worst thing here. Doubs/Wicks/Golden

i dont know man when you have a bunch of wrs who can all go off at any time it makes it really hard to game plan against add that to a good running game and what a headache everything is a misdirection there is no solid here is who we are doubling etc im pretty happy with how things are looking take that to the bank brohans

For fantasy football purposes, sure. But for real life football purposes you don't fix what's not broken. MLF inherited Devante Adams and worked with him for a couple years but hasn't had a WR1 since then, has said he doesn't believe in the concept, and never will have one so long as his offense is working the way its designed.

Exactly, If Golden catches that long pass last night everyones opinion changes. Week 2 isnt over, I am not panicking.

Lefleur really said he doesn't believe in having a WR1? Wow. Thanks for this, I wasn't aware

Last year answering a Q about his WR1 he said "I want to vomit every time I hear 'No. 1 receiver,' to be honest with you. "It drives me crazy. That's something that you guys talk about. I feel like we've got a bunch of 'em." He went on to add that the top four receivers are capable of being a No. 1 in some capacity and that the target receiver can change weekly based on how the team wants to attack an opponent. His play calling and game planning has consistently supported this notion ever since GBP moved on from Adams.

Jordan’s 20 straight completions.

I won’t hear how lucky he is anymore. Watch his ball placement even on low % throws. He knows how to safely give his guys chances.

If the Pack let him sling it, they’re going to a Super Bowl.
The "if they let him sling it" is the key. When Love throws 30+ times he looks good this year, when he doesn't its like he presses or something, he looks less good.

The gameplan should be pass early and often, get leads, let Parsons and the pass rush pin their ears back.
