QB Quadry...drafting from the 1 spot = LT2 (1 Viewer)

I'd like to lock up a QB no later than the 6/7 turn. I am however leaning towards a selection at the 4/5 turn.

Now I could grab Carson Palmer at the 2/3 turn and then go WR (in the likes of Wayne, Williams, Holt = stretch, Ownes = stretch, Fitz, etc..etc...)

If I do that, it leaves me with LT2, Palmer and #1 WR and not a bad nucleus, but I think I'd prefer another quality WR1 or my #2RB behind LT2.

Problem w/ drafting Palmer so early for me is, I am already losing depth at WR and RB while not sure I need to jump on Palmer so early as I might wait until the 4/5 turn and target a QB at that point whcih would likely include availability of the following:

Bulger (adp 4.10) is who I want

Mcnabb (adp 5.5)

Kitna (adp 5.12)

Based on who is available and injury status at time of draft, I would rank the above as Bulger, Kitna, Mcnabb.

If I wait until the 6/7 turn, I am looking at:

Romo

Hassleback

Young

None of whom I am interested in.

Is Palmer going to be that great this year to get him so ealy or should I stock up a bit and wait until the 4th round where I know I can get Bulger, Mcnabb or Kitna...and I would be happy with either one.

I wait till the 6th at least to draft a QB. I would think you would go LT2 and the next two picks need to be WR and RB. After the first 4 rounds I would want to be 2RB and 2WR but if you are sitting on LT, another RB a good WR and a stud QB has slipped, that would be pretty solid....

No sure I want him...when I think the next tier will be just as capable of putting up good, solid numbers, especially Kitna and Bulger....Mcnabb off injury is a bit of a wild-card

Soon to be LT owner here. I would definately take another RB at your spot in the second round possibly getting Ronnie Brown, Edge, or Cedric Benson. Then go WR, maybe getting Holt, Wayne, or Harrison. Then on your 5th pick go for the QB. The guy I really like this year and am targeting is Matt Hassleback. He's got an easy schedule and what I feel is a nice group of WR's. He would present nice value in round 5 or 6. Hope things work out for you!
