The most hardcore and best football minds on this board got together and drafted. Now this isnt typical redraft 12 league stuff, so I'm not looking at the typical overall ADP cause that doesnt mean much.

But average draft within a position can show alot

1 Drew Brees

2 Peyton Maning

3 Phil Rivers

4 Jay Cutler

5 Aaron Rodgers

6 Tony Romo

7 Tom Brady

8 Kurt Warner

9 Donovan McNabb

10 Matt Schaub

11 Big Ben

12 Eli Manning

13 Carson Palmer

14 Matt Ryan

15 David Garrard

16 Chad Pennington

17 Joe Flacco

18 Tyler Thigpen

19 Matt Hasslebeck

20 Jason Campbell

21 Jamarcus Russell

22 Jake Delhomme

23 Brady Quinn

24 Matt Cassel

25 Kyle Orton

26 Shaun Hill

27 MarcBulger

28 Trent Edwards

29Jon Kitna

30 Kerry Collins

Observations:

Drew Brees consensus #1

Peyton consensus #2

Phil Rivers is overrated.

For Dodds perfect draft article he will tell you to be targetting Schaub

Thanks for doing this.

I see lots of risk after the top 5.

Will Warner be back?

Will Brady be healthy?

Will Romo have TO?

Will McNabb play in Philly?

This will sort itself out before your typical league drafts and all of these guys could potentially end up top 5.

Brees is finally recognized as money in the bank. I'm somewhat surprised Peyton is a consensus #2. He was a consensus #2 last year behind Brady and I was able to take advantage of his slow start with a midseason trade.

I took Rivers as the 4th QB (Warner went 3rd) and am happy with him. Who else would you take? Cutler arguably, Rodgers might outperform him, but Rivers is as good a pick as any there.

In hindsight, if I had waited to take my QB, I probably would gave ended up with a Matt Ryan / David Garrard QBBC instead of Rivers/Hill. Then I'd have Lee Evans instead of Bernard Berrian. I'm happier with the way things fell out, I think. Just a creature of the draft slots.

personalyl I'd take Cutler/Rodgers and Romo over Phil.

At least 4 of us disagree with you there. I'm just not a Romo fan (although I did draft him in this league last year) with the TO questions. IMO Rivers/Cutler/Rodgers is a mini-tier, really could go either way there; I already had LT and I actually like RB/QB combos, although with the unknown bye week, that may have been a mistake.

Rivers was going too early, but he's worth a bit more in survivor where guys like Romo are a bit riskier.

I dont see anything here that wouldnt be considered a typical redraft stuff among drafters that know what theyre doing. After Brees I think there is a lot of "matter of preferance" between 2-8.
