Recently there have been quite a few QBs to hit the WW. I would think this has a lot to do with performance and with teams gettting past their byes.
T.Green, J.Plummer, M.Brunell, C.Frye are some of the names to be have been dropped recently. At the start of the year, they all seemed like reasonable options. Do these guys turn it around?
I would think that Green may have the most upside, he just needs to be cleared to play. From what I've read he may return to practice next week and be able to play week 9.
Plummer has been a bust so far this year, as has the Denver offense. It seems they are just going to rely on their DEF to win games. Rod Smith and Javon Walker have stated they need the ball more recently. Will Shanny open it up more? Not likely, but surely Plummer is more productive than he has shown so far. Isn;t he?
Cleveland will be playing from behind and Frye has been okay so far this year, but he seems to throw a lot of INTs (9 so far to go along with 3 fumbles). I'm also worried about their schedule from here on out - looks pretty rough.
And then there is Brunell. This guy will put up 1 great game to try to make you a believer, but then kill you in the next 2-3. He has some decent matchups, but you never know how he will perform week to week.
I would rank them as I've listed them.
What do you think? Are there other decent QBs that have been dropped in your league recently?
