I'm in a league where, as the title says, get .5 points per completion (6 pts per rushing TD and 4 pts for pass TD).
REALLY struggling trying to wrap my head around who should be the guys to target week to week. In my draft, all the top ranked QBs went in the first two rounds so I built my team and ended up with Goff late. I was totally satisfied with that as they have a good offense with a good schedule and a ton of indoor games. But he's not been good for me.
What I've noticed is these settings water down the rushing of the running QBs. Where everywhere says you NEED a running QB and a guy like Richardson (as bad as he is in real life) could be a league winner, this league doesn't look that way (in now the 3 seasons I've been in it). Alternatively, this week, I was surprised that Darnold (with 4 passing TDs) was not one of the week's top scorers. It appears that maybe the top QB scorers are ones who get the passings yards along with TDs of any kind. I would think a guy like Goff would be great with the presumed amount of completions he would get but, as I said, it appears that the .5 ppc is only upping the overall scores of all the QBs and not really being the difference between each one.
Anyone have any experience with scoring setting like these and have any advice? Really contemplating dropping Goff for J Daniels or Caleb.
