Question about 10-team Perfect Draft (1 Viewer)

I'm sorry if this is a ridiculous question, but in Dodds' 10-team Perfect Draft article, he talked about compiling your own Top 50 list by looking at value vs. ADP, and closed by saying, "You can get a tailored list by entering your scoring criteria into the VBD or Draft Dominator applications." Does he mean that the DD (which I use) automatically spits out the Top 50 he's talking about ... or, does that mean whatever Top 200 cheatsheet the DD comes up with is the starting point for compiling the Top 50 (i.e., using the rankings as value and comparing it to ADP)? Thanks for any help you can provide.

I feel so free not having joined FBG's this year for the first time in several.

Eliminating the "science" from all this has been ... cathartic.

That said, I'm zero help on your question.

:bag:

But good luck with your draft. I have a 10-team and 14-team league, and they each pose interesting challenges. In 10-plus years of FF, I'm not sure I've even played in a 12-team league.

I believe that the DD would determine the value listing Dodds refers to in the article. Then, you compile the top 50 ranking by comparing value and ADP. Dodds said to take the average of value and ADP if the value was higher than ADP, and to use the value number by itself if value is lower than ADP.Of course, you may move a player up or down a few spots depending on other variables or even gut feel (as the previous poster intoned, it's not all science). I do think it's a good starting point for draft preparation, but it's only as good as the input data, which due to my league scoring rules last year advised me to take Torry Holt over Stephen Jackson against my gut feel.
