I saw this for the first time a couple days ago.

Quick question....When Cage's character is "sucked" back into the family man life with Tea Leoni's character, what happened to the original guy that was married to Leoni?

Is he now in Cage's single man life....being wealthy and having relations with lots of chicks?

It is just a glimpse man, wasn't like Freaky Friday.

The "original guy" was Cage all along. The Cheadle character just suppressed the previous 13 years worth of memories.

How would we know? You're the only one who's seen the movie.

I enjoy this movie. Not sure why. Makes me appreciate what I have in life.

And the shower scene doesn't hurt.

wrong... and you are missing a pretty good movie if you haven't watched it.  :)

Thank you for taking time to respond Mr. Cage.

FWIW I thought you were great in Encino Man.
I love this movie as well.

One of Cage's better movies (he gets to freak out a lot which is his go-to move).  Cheadle is great as usual and Tea is hot as balls.  Also has a personal favorite, Jeremy Piven, as his blue-collar best friend.  The little girl is cute and the theme is a good one.  It's not the Godfather but it isn't some piece of Hallmark drivel either, it is a good family friendly Christmas movie.

My wife's  favorite holiday movie.  It's not bad, but I don't need to see it every year.

In answer to the original question, I would say that "it's just a glimpse" is probably the best answer, but it is not a complete or perfect answer.

When the little girl tells him "I knew you'd be back" that can only be explained if this is some kind of parallel existience that he was temporarily dropped in to.  Otherwise, they would have, could have used a different experession or statement from the girl to convey that he finally got it.

Like others said, "just a glimpse" and "underrated movie".  Probably a good time to re-watch.
