Question for experienced Commissioners (1 Viewer)

This is my first year as a commish and starting up a new league. I have a question for all of the experienced Commissioners out there.

What is the recommended bench size for a 10 team league that starts the following 10 spots:

1 OB

2 RB

3 WR

1 Flex RB/WR

1 TE

1 K

1 D/ST

I'm looking for a balance so that there will be an active WW, but not too much talent stored on the bench or an extremely lengthly draft.

Thanks

IMO2 qb4 rb5 wr1 flex2 tecombo of either two k and 1 d or vise versa (forces people to make transactions more or less, we do this in one league anyways)or2k2d (if the other idea sounds bad)

For the 10 team league the OP mentioned, I agree -- somewhere between 18 and 20 players on the roster. 18 will keep the waiver wire active, though 20 will help pad the roster in case of an injury issue right before the season starts.I could give or take the position limits -- some leagues I am in have them, some don't. As long as you can start a competetive squad each week.

All of my leagues have similar starting requirements, the difference is we only have to start 2 wrs, in four of them we have 15 man rosters and in my dynasty league we have a 22 man roster

my 10-team league has a team roster of 18 players: 11 starters and 7 bench players. People seem to like it.

2QB

2RB

2WR

2 Flex (RB/WR)

1 TE

1 K

1 Def

My 10-team leagues requires:

4 QBs

6 RBs

8 WR/TEs

2 Ks

2 Ds

And if there's not enough talent in the WW pool, boo-hoo... draft better!
