Question for Miami Homers (1 Viewer)

Read this on Fantasy Insights. Sounds like the writer might be pulling it out of his ###, but I'm wondering if there's real talk of this in Miami.

"RUNNING BACKS: It looks like Ronnie Brown won't get many chances on Sunday because Coach Cameron is already building for next season and wants to see what he has besides Brown, so while he should play, don't expect too much."

I follow the Dolphins very closely and that it the first time I've heard that mentioned. Ronnie is really their only consistant weapon right now. It's Week 7 - not Week 15.

RB will be busy today. The Patriots D will be all over him but he should have a decent day rushing & receiving combined.

Granted, the fins are in bad shape but throwing in the towel after week 6 would be grounds for termination IMO. I know they are down a QB, traded away their only WR threat and have one of the worst D's in the NFL but you still have to play to win, at least to the best of your ability.

The situation they are in won't make things easy for Ronnie Brown. With no weapons (WR's, QB) it is going to be easy for other teams to stop the run and probably get in a few hard hits. Perhaps he is just worried about protecting his only viable weapon? Maybe.

Wait, you mean they want to see what they have in Jessee Chatman? Cam knows more about Jesse than Ronnie already, and its not like Chatman is some young rookie. The real problem for Ronnie this weekend is the Patriots.
