If I leave my tickets on consignment with a broker, what's fair for him to take as a commission in the following cases:

a) tickets sell for 2x face

b) tickets sell for face

c) tickets sell for 70% of face

None. Most won't take tickets they have to sell at a loss unless they tell you before hand. If they do take them then it would be a nominal, no more than ten points.

Is that 25% of the profit or the total purchase price? Big difference.

Those are based on total price on the numbers Chet gave. You shouldn't have a broker selling at face or below face. At or below face should be done on kijiji or Craig's or just word of mouth but if you are gonna use a broker those are close figures. Every scalper is different but those are ball yard.
