Question Regarding FA Salary in New Auction League (1 Viewer)

Hi Everyone,

After many, many years, our redraft league is switching from a snake draft to an auction format.  I have a couple of questions.

12 Team PPR Redraft League with 17 players per roster (9 starters and 8 bench).

What would you recommend the salary cap be for the draft as well as in-season?

What would you recommend the price be for FA pickups?

What would you recommend the price be for a player dropped and then picked up by a new team?

I hope that makes sense.

You help and feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks,

HH

The auction draft can be 200, 300, or 400 - doesn't matter as its all relative.  Our 14 team redraft is 300.

Since its redraft no need to track salaries post-draft. We give everyone 1000 for blind bids plus FCFS which is $1.

A dropped player has to clear waiver lock (i.e. if dropped after or part of blind bid then have to wait till next week) and he can be picked up for any price.

Just keep it simple... Other advice: purchase PRime Time Draft as you can incorporate results into MFL AND have a non-owner act as auctioneer.

You won't go back to snake trust me.

Hope this helps....
