Question whats going on with the Saints 3 DE's (1 Viewer)

Guys how are the saints using all 3 of these guys... Who are the 2 starters.. does anyone go out on third down ... do all 3 play in some sets.. Can anyone let me know whats going on

Of the 3 Grant gets the most snaps. Howard and Will Smith are usually the ones rotated. In most cases if Smith moves to Grant's spot, Grant moves to the other side. When Smith replaces Howard he either comes out or moves to the defensive tackle position. You will see all three play the tackle position at some point during the game though.

from a fantasy perspective, i'd say all three are viable options. grant will be the most consistent, followed by howard as they are starting, but smith gets a lot of PT with one of the others playing DT. Saints are weak at DT.to me, will smith is no worse that KGB or any other pass rush specialist. he's going to get enough sacks to point well, though you may have to live with a few 1 assist games.

Grant was ranked #1 at DL in a lot of sources before the season. I got him and Kevin Williams who was ranked very high...Neither have produced any tackles, let alone sacks...Grant will come around, I hope...
