questions about setting up dynasty or keeper league (1 Viewer)

Forgive me for being naive. With all the discussion I see about dynasty leagues and keeper leagues I have become intrigued with joining one. I suppose I would have to get some local guys together to do it. If I did assemble a group of guys to start a league where would we go to set it up. CBS, ESPN or who? Would any of you seasoned vets tell me what I would need to do or where to go?

There are a number of websites you can use and you will find positives and negatives for all of them. I have most of my leagues on MFL, but I also use ESPN and have been very happy with them. You also don't have to only find local people. Most of my leagues are with ifriends. You can find people on websites like this one in the Looking for Leagues Forum. Creating a thorough rules docement is the first step IMO, before looking for people to fill out the league. This thread was a great one about rules but you should start with a rules document you know and like and modify it to fit your dynasty league.

thanks. I especially appreciate the info about ifriends. I am not too confident that I can find enough friends locally.

My first Dynasty was built through here. And it has been very stable. My local one has been a pain in the backside. MFL, ESPN, Fleaflicker all do the year to year setup. MFL is the best IMO.

PS, I would be interested in another Dynasty league.

Looking for Leagues forum is a great place to start. If you're looking for some rules, jeter23 runs HyperActive leagues of mostly FBGs that are a tight ship. ravnzfan also runs some good leagues too. There's plenty of good rules out there and both of those guys can point you in the right direction.HTH
