Sounds cool. I hate downloading things, but I may one of these podcasts (I know I sound like I am 85).

Here are a couple of questions:

Will CuMar be able to hold off Houston this year? Or will it be a RBBC?

Is Warrick Dunn ever going to slow down? Who will win the backup job between Duckett and Norwood?

As a Denver insider, what are your thoughts on the RB situation?

Can guys like S-Jax and Ronnie Brown manage a full workload as they may be asked to this year?

Thanks for considering!

Rb's, all of them?

Talk about handcuffs and drafting a team rb backfield. Drafting both and hoping to get a starter cheap. also, which ones to target and when, adp's too.

Thanks

Brian Calhoun - Poor man's Marshall Faulk or 3rd down back?

Maurice Drew - really the future in Jax or just the latest in a string of underavhieving rbs drafted

Chris Brown - Gone from Tennessee in '07 - who could use him?

Mewelde Moore - Soft as marshmellow or potential for the future

If Frank Gore wins the job in San Francisco, is he a long-term solution for them?

If Samkon Gado wins the job in Green Bay, is he a long-term solution for them?

Can DeAngelo Williams get and hold on to the starters job in Carolina?

Is Julius Jones in real danger of losing his job?

Does Corey Dillon have anything left in the tank?

I posted a long string of questions but they arent here, so I'll sum up:

Starting RB for CHI? Does TJones have a future after CHI?

Jamal: any similar RBs who have gone through similar abnormal circumstances that we could look at? Thoughts on 06 production and dynasty potential...value pick?

Will White get the majority of carries if TEN is out early? Will their desire to develop Young keep a more experienced back on the field? Or could White win the job outright?

CT: will he run away with job or RBBC?

Who is the best backup in the league right now, not counting rookies?

Do you see Greg Jones becoming an everydown back?

Who will be no.2 for the NYJ: Blaylock, Houston, or Washington?

Can you guys post these on iTunes somehow? I really like the feature, but having it available on iTunes would make it even better!!

How about a discussion of which teams and which rds it might be a viable strategy to target a backfield? Examples are Carolina (Foster and Williams), Denver (Dayne and Bell) or Houston (Deuce and Bush). Which have the highest value?

I don't know if anyone mentioned the chaos in MINN, and whether Ahman Green bounces back or not.

Check out the handcuff threads in the SP - but still a good question.

If its appropriate, can you shed light on the players who may be FA's in 2007 and their potential for emerging somehere else as a starter?

Knowing contract status can help with keeper league strategy. Thanks!

1. Forget about age, will Brandon Jacobs vulture even more TDs this year than last and hurts Tikis value?

2. In a keeper league, should you risk spening a high pick on Ronnie Brown knowing tjhat Ricky may be back next year?

3. By what game will rookies (or backups) take over for vets (Addai, Maroney, Benspon, etc.).

4. How does the aquisition of M. Anderson affect Jamal Lewis? What can we expect from Jamal this year?

5. I was going to start a thread on this but: With the new schedule having 6 teams on bye on the same week (not all weeks) , what kind of strategy should we use when drafting RBs (or any position for that matter)? Shuld the new schedule influence how you draft?

Who is the next Larry Johnson? Who is the next RB to really bust out (Top Five) that is presently sitting behind a starter? Some names that might be mentioned include Maurice Morris, some of the rookies, Cedric Benson, Mike Anderson, Dayne/Bell???

How much of an impact with Drew make in Jax for this year and next? Fred is anything but certain to play 16 games. After him is Greg Jones, Pearman and Drew. So, if Fred goes down, where does Drew fit into the program?

Will Brian Westbrook have more receptions than carries?

At the end of the season, who will have more FPs in Dallas? Julius Jones or Marion Barber?

Can Ronnie Brown bring up his game to make it into the Top Five? What about Carnell Williams?

In Pittsburgh, who is the RB1, Staley or FWP? How many carries should the RB2 expect?

Who posts more FPs? Portis or Tiki?

Bloom and I are recording Sunday night and we are wrapping this up this weekend. Any more questions?

BTW, we are close to being up on ITunes with our podcast. (still working on logo)

Is the 2004 Willis McGahee that had 13 TDs and 10 runs over 20 yards the real deal, or the 2005 version with 5 TDs and 4 20+ runs? Also, is there any significance to the fact that his YPC went down in each month from September to December last year?

Even the experts have him all over the map as I've seen him everywhere from the end of round 1 to the middle of round 3. Help!

great questions all! Sigmund, Jeff, and I recorded the first half of the Audilbe last night.

Jason Wood will join me tonight as we go over the AFCS, AFCW, NFCE, and NFCN. Any more Q's just fire away!

Cecil, how is this going to work now that TC's are opening up? What about the regular season? Are you going to try to make this a once a week show? Because these waits between episodes are killing me.

No background music this time, right? Always reminds me of two people talking in an elevator. When is it coming out because everything is going to get very fluid from here on out..

Rock on man.

EDGE.. (follow up to pcast question you guys answered in may/june)

Assuming EDGE is the Cardinals savior and gets, 5.2 yards per carry.. then gets hurt, can arrington Carry the load? he didn't last year...

conversely, how much better is edge over arrington? if truly he is worlds above JJ, was the 2005 draft pick a waste? is there any dynasty value in JJ?

For owners in leagues with divisions, what RB's will be most effective in the early weeks of play(divisional games)?

-12 team redraft, 3 divisions, 1st 3 weeks divisional games.

It's going to be even more hectic. I'm editing the episode right now. My wife and I had our 3rd child last Thursday, so it's been quite busy around here! The Audible is a once a week show. These PSW episodes are very big, the total amount of audio is 4 hours. We will record the PSW WR episode this weekend, and then I'll edit that.

back to work.

Most importantly, congrats on the new addition to the house!

Thanks guys. We did plan this pregnancy around the NFL season (it's when I'm the busiest) :football:

Cecil is editing 1.5 right now, as I understand it.

1.6 should get recorded soon as well, despite this being a VERY busy time.

We're working on it and appreciate the requests for it.

There are a few others out there that might help hold you over untill the next FBG one comes out. http://www.fantasyfootballjournal.com/ is prety good, and they actually mentioned Jason Woods comments about Roaf in the latest.
Hey QUEZILLA...they mention something I said on the boards? Would you send me a link? Just want to make sure they're giving Footballguys.com the proper credit. Thanks
IIRC they did say Jason Wood from Footballguys.com, it is in the middle half of the latest podcast on the link above. It's on the right of the page, I just listened to the streaming version. They were talking about how LJ will impact from Roafs retirement, and one said that you mentioned he may be doing it to get out of camp.

Hey Cecil,How do we use the rss feed for the audible. I can't figure it out.
Are you using iTunes?
yes I am. I saved it to my desktop and tried to copy it to itunes, but it didn't do anything.
Copy the RSS Feed iTunes Temporary Link found above the Podcasts on the Update page (just highlight the text and copy). In the iTunes menu bar select Advanced -> Subscribe To Podcast. Then paste the link you just copied there. Voila! Instant podcast directory!

thanks, did that but I only got a 29 min segment (according to my podcast directory). However, I downloaded them individually and it was over 3 hrs of content. Any ideas?

If you click on the blue arrow the the left of 'The Audible' it will bring down the menu of podcasts. You should see all the segments of each Audible Podcast in your directory. The most recent downloads automatically and you just click on 'Get' for the others. There should be 30 items in the podcast directory.
