PPR 12 team redraft.  Starts QB/RB/2WR/TE/2FLEX/K/2IDP

At the clock at 6.02 and need to pick soon!

My team so far:
RB: D. Johnson , D. Freeman
WR: J. Jones, DJ Moore (KR)
TE: G. Kittle

I'm looking at a few options here.

RBs
T. Coleman: He's Shannahan's guy and McKinnon is still not healthy.  Will catch some balls.
T. Cohen: Should catch a lot of balls but with Davis and Montgomery, the upside is limited
WRs
A. Robinson: Healthy this year, still young and finally may have value.  How soon we forget he was a true #1.
R. Anderson: I don't trust Gase but he has shown flashes.
D. Westbrook: Finally has a decent QB and we get points for KR and PR yards.  Thinking maybe I can get him at the next turn?
QBs
Watson: I know we are supposed to wait on QBs this year, but is he value here?  Only Mahommes has gone so far and I expect a run on QB before my next pick.

Would love your opinion and, as always, WHIR with a link.  Thanks! 👊

I'd personally take Watson.  He's the closest thing to a sure thing.  Waiting on a QB is fine, but when you are comparing him to players like the rest of your list, I'd go with the seemingly sure thing.

If you really want to wait, I think it's between Coleman and Robinson.  Robinson only put up true number one WR numbers one year in 2015.  If you think he's likely to do it again go ahead and grab him because he is a steal if he puts up anything close to 2015 numbers.  Coleman would be the safer pick out of the two.

I just read your reply on another question that you are a high risk / high reward guy.  With that in mind I thin Westbrook could potentially have the biggest upside.  There are a lot of picks between your two picks assuming you are doing a snake draft.  If you really think a run on QBs is coming, I'd take the chance with Watson and try and grab Westbrook in the seventh.

With Mahomes gone, you may be able to start the run on QBs and keep people away from at least one of the players you listed.  Any one of them would be a decent seventh round pick.

Thanks for the replies!

I kinda want Westbrook on my team but his ADP (9.07 in 12 team PPR real drafts on MFL since 8/1) has me maybe hoping he will slide back to me.  I think I'm vacillating between Watson and Robinson here and although DD is telling me to take Watson, since there are 9 other guys I'd be happy with as my QB1... (Luck, Rodgers, Newton, Ryan, Wentz, Murray, Wilson, Mayfield, Jackson) maybe I'll go Robinson...

May be to late but I would definitely go Coleman or Robinson especially with 2 flex. Lots of value at QB this year.

Not too late... struggling in my head.  Back and forth here.

I know I should wait on QB, I know there is depth at QB, I know the conventional wisdom is don't go early on QB but... I see a run coming and I'm leaning a bit into Watson thinking I can mine comparable value at WR or RB off the wire.  :oldunsure:

Thanks for the replies but I took Watson.

I immediately regret it (a bit) but I saw very replaceable talent for the RBs and WRs I think will be there at the next turn but Watson could vie for the #1 QB.  Also, I'm thinking by taking him, I can start a QB run and push some RB/WR talent down.... I hope.
