Jene Bramel

Looking unlikely that I'll get another RTD update out before the end of the week, so I'm posting some thoughts on Twitter -- @JeneBramel -- instead. Planning more activity there on game days and during the week if you're following along.

if you're in this forum and you have a twitter account, you need to follow Jene.

If you're in this forum and you don't have a twitter account, sign up for one so you can follow Jene.

So... :shrug:Say hypothetically, we've never looked into this twitter thingy. How exactly do you see the updates? On the computer in e-mail or some form or do they come via text? This may just be the thing that brings me into the social media age.

You can see the updates by clicking on the link in the first post -- with or without a Twitter account. Many people follow feeds using some sort of desktop application (I use TweetDeck) or smart phone app (I use Echofon) once they have an account of their own. Once you open an account, you can click on the Follow button on any person's Twitter page to download that person's tweets to your account. You can get up-to-the-minute news from beat writers, some fantasy folks, players, etc, etc this way. A quick way to find those accounts would be to click on the "Following" link on either mine or Sig's (@SigmundBloom) twitter page, then click the Follow button to add the feeds you like as you work down the pages. If you have an account and an app, I think you can probably have tweets from those you follow pushed to your email or phone, but I'm not set up for that myself.

:mellow:This from the greatest and most prolific Twitter-man out there. Nearly 2800 followers and over 12,000 tweets about all things life and fantasy football related. Join Bloom's family at @SigmundBloom, then consider little old me.
