The reason I ask is that I am watching CNBC and they are talking about how women are underrepresented and underpaid in business, but great women businessmen don't immediately come to mind. Nor do great women inventors.
To me, invention and new ideas is what makes business leap forward. Do women have what it takes to be great inventors? A need to wander and explore new ideas, a need to crush competition, long dreary hours of trial and error, shutting oneself off from society for long periods of time until the invention comes to fruition, etc.
I can only think of the Spanx inventor Sara Blakely.
