At bats are at bats only.
I assume you mean plate appearances, which count every time a player went into the batter's box (counting to the letter of the law at bats, walks, HBP, sacrifice hits, sacrifice flies, and catcher's interference).
Baseballreference.com has these already calculated under the Special Batting section for each player.
