Quinn Gray... (1 Viewer)

He looked pretty solid tonight....is he a potential waiver wire gem?
He did?I just posted in the game thread how awful he looked...He overthrew over half of his passes, got picked off twice and really didn't move the team at all until the meaningless final drive (and even then couldn't get them into the EZ)...Solid?

At the rate the QB's are dropping this year he might be top tier in a week or two.

The injuries are sick this year.

Just put in a claim for him right now.He looks like the next Tarvaris Jackson.
What a snooze fest that would be if those 2 played against each other, and yes, for the record, that was sarcasm. I thought that Jackson looked really bad yesterday, but Gray just formed his own category of suck.

Don't get ahead of yourself. Perhaps one day he can be the stud that is TJack. For now he can hope to be at least at productive as Grossman next week.

Remember that game he had against the Chiefs last year?Get him off the waiver wire NOW!!!
I dont know if you are serious or not but if Garrard cant play I do think he is a good option. Last night was just one game and that doesn't match any other game I've seen him play in.

I also agree with this, I was really surprised/disappointed to see his performance last night. For the last 2-3 years I've been saying he is the best QB on the Jags. I'm going to chalk this up as not being prepared to play; which isn't good, but one more performance like that and I'm throwing in the towel.

I wouldn't pick him up just yet, because Del Rio will have a brainwave at 11am Sunday, and start Matt Jones.
I'm thinking Jack waits until 9 hours before game time Sunday, after Quinn got all the reps all week, then cuts Quinn Gray and annouces that Rashean Mathis is now the starting QB.

Seriously? Was anyone else confused why Quinn Gray had a dark visor on Monday Night? It's a night game for cryin' out loud! No wonder he was overthrowing his receivers by 15 yards....

I can't imagine anyone even considering starting Quinn unless you are in a starts 2 QB league with bye issues maybe. But I will say this, Quinn Gray is not nearly as bad as he looked monday night. Given a week of prep time, I expect him to play a decent game on sunday. Jag QBs don't have much upside to start with, Tampa still has a decent defense, and I expect the gameplan to center around the rushing attack, but I bet Quinn ends up with at least 150-200 combined yards and a TD. He might have some turnovers as well as Quinn is not afraid to let it fly, but he's been ultra productive in preseason, NFLE, and played quite well before monday night in his limited NFL experience.

Matt would probably be a better play - at least he can run some gimmick plays...
