Browns quarterback Brady Quinn has a Lisfranc injury in his left foot and will visit a specialist Tuesday to help determine whether he needs surgery, a league source has informed The Cleveland Plain Dealer. Quinn sustained the injury in Week 15 against the Chiefs and was placed on Injured Reserve to close out the season. "I met with our training staff today. I don't believe he's going to need surgery," new team president Mike Holmgren said Monday. "He needs some time, clearly. As far as the specifics of the injury, we can talk a little about that [during a press conference] Tuesday. Lisfranc, that's the first thought, yeah."
I guess the Cleveland QB position may be a position of doubt after all.........

If McNabb does stay in Philly, which I doubt, expect Kolb to join the new GM in Cleveland.
Cleveland might be a possibility, but if Kolb does leave PHI couldn't he wind up in ARZ, SEA, STL, WAS, or even JAX? Does he have a connection with anyone in CLE?
The Cleveland Browns today named Tom Heckert, Jr. as the club's General Manager and Bryan Wiedmeier as Executive Vice President - Business Operations.Heckert joins the Browns after spending the previous nine seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles (2001-09), including the last four as General Manager (2006-09).
