I know Al Davis sucks and rah rah rah.. But Davis isn't a total; idiot he knows his football and despite being a total d.bag has been a fairly successful owner until recently.

Oaklands issues all all related to total lack of a decent or even remotley competent QB. Last time Oakland had even a decent QB was Gannon and they did really well when he was there. When he tanked in 03 or 04 the team spiraled down and never recovered or replaced him.

I just don't get it with several FA QB's out there year after year how can Oakland done this poorly in reagrds to a QB. Hell they got some decent R talent that could develope - I actually think Murphy , DHB , and ZMiller could be a solid core if they had anyone that could throw it. They have 2 decent RB's but they can't do anything becasue no one respects the pass even remotley.

They had a QB that could at least be competent and they waive him before the season starts in Garcia.

If I was an Oakland fan i would be pretty pissed. They have a defense with potential -- their line doesn't suck and their DB's are solid with maybe the best Cover guy in football. Their skill positions on O aren't all world but don't suck either and have some potential.

Jeebus Al - get a free agent QB that can at least throw the ball accuratley 10 feet.

What you fail to realize is that Al Davis could care a flying frigg about what you or any Raider homers feel about this team. He will literally die trying to resurrect Darryl Lamonica and Cliff Branch. Look at Al Davis's attire. He even dresses like its the mid 70's and he is going to hang with Andy Warhol at Studio 54. Those white with black trim Run DMC track suits look rediculous on an 80 year old man.

His team is a reflection of his mental health. Until something changes and he is taken away from being "President of the Partner", nothing will change. Russell will be the QB even if the Raiders finish 2-14

If there was ever a man that epitomizes the saying "cut off his nose to spite his face", its Al Davis.

For FF reference, the only relevance the Raiders have going forward is playing your offensive players against that defense. No Raider is rosterable. Bottom fell out.
