Raiders' injury report is ugly, they are pretty beat up. The Broncos are relatively healthy at this point in the season. Payton has finally publicly acknowledged the importance of the Raiders/Broncos rivalry to the fans, the team and local media. This is an about face from last year when he chose to downplay or completely ignore it and they got punched in the mouth, twice. Raiders have dominated this series of late, going 9-1 in their last 10 vs the Broncos both SU and ATS. That's a strong trend to bet against, but Denver's defense should keep this one close. Neither team really has a running game to speak of, and Nix hasn't looked great throwing but has shown some signs of life. I think Denver's defense and Nix's scrambling gets them and ugly W to buck the trend. These franchises seem to be heading in different directions.
Both teams are offensively challenged
But Broncos have the better defense
And are at Mile High
But it's a division game so I think The dysfunctional Raiders keep it close
Bo Nix shown arriving wearing a 1977 Broncos jersey #7, in honor of the 1977 team today, and Scott Hanson think it's Elway, when Craig Morton was #7 on that team
