I’m starting Mahomes with the least amount of confidence one can bestow upon a starter. That Raiders game last year has spooked me. Otherwise I’d say I was pretty confident in him even though this is a down year and his receivers aren’t very good. It’s been a struggle to watch, actually.
Reason tells me he’ll be just fine. Something about Maxx Crosby tells me that the Chiefs offensive line better get some help from the running backs and TEs.

I think the Raiders play KC tough, much like Carolina did. But ultimately fall short.
For KC, I think Mahomes spreads it around, and the running game (welcome back Isiah Pacheco) is used heavily. I'd expect close to a 50-50 split between Pacheco and Hunt today. With Pacheco creating some distance in the coming weeks.
For Vegas, I think McDuffie pretty much locks onto Meyers, making it a game about Bowers and checkdowns.

Interestingly Wright was SF's kicker Week 6 converted all 3 of his FG and all 3 of his extra point tries. Guess I'd worry KC scores 3 or 4 TD's and he only gets 3-4 points. Then again big lead they could just run it a lot and their defense could give them easy FG tries. Not sure if I'm going to pick up and play over Gozalez yet.

Oh yeah, I meant hurting in that they’re on their third choice if I’m not mistaken. Butker went down, then other dude (Shrader) went down, and now they have Wright.

Its his 1st game off IR. but O'Connell had taken the starting job from Minshew before he went down. Debatable whether it'll be true or not, but I think the Raiders don't feel like O'Connell is worse than Minshew and may be better. He did beat KC last year, though that was more about the Raiders defense playing great than anything else.

He lived an interesting life. I used to endeavor to read more of him than I did, but I always found my reading of him stunted by disagreements, and I was (and really am) very conservative in temperament and politics. But it’s cool to see his book in an avatar here.

I know a guy like Pacheco was hard to hold in high stakes and I really wish these sites had 1 IR spot because a lot of people dropped Pacheco when Andy Reid said he was not sure if Pacheco would play again this year.
In RTS Pacheco was a 2nd round pick so in that site if a 1st/2nd round pick was dropped no one can pick them up but in the NFFC people were allowed but I missed out.

Its really mindblowing. Not as mindblowing as KC paying 20 mill a year for one of the worst RTs in the NFL, even when he gets away with cheating, but still mindblowing.
