Hey @HSG, ESPN isn’t crediting Crosby with a sack in the box score. The official scorer might not have given it to him.

Seems impossible since Crosby was literally the only player in the backfield.

If this is the case there will be a stat correction eventually, right?

I would expect so.

I think the dude contacted me because as commish I can manually apply a stat change. That said I’ll always wait until the following Thursday just in case the NFL makes the correction. Which they usually do.

The PBP on both CBS & Yahoo still says “Mahomes sacked -18” without crediting it.

MFL credited it then took it away.

for it to be PI doesn't it have to be deemed "catchable"? It seems like in some game there was a PI no call since the ball was deemed "uncatchable" It seems a bit subjective. Or the nfl just makes up the rules based on the game script.

Not likely. If Crosby was the one who touched him, he’s still sacked. Never heard of a QB giving himself up for -17
