With a thin WR market I'm sure the Rams wern't going to take a chance on Curtis. This protects them as I'm sure they'd have no problem taking a #1 in return. Especially if they are going to keep Bruce and McDonald.

With Curtis & McDonald there, I thought Bruce might end up being a cap casulty, especially with Bloody Thursday @ mid-day.

Was thinking the same Pony Boy. Must be a very cap friendly contract extension.

I've been hoping Bruce would be a cap casualty and find his way to the Birds...wishful thinking, I realize, but it's March so why not throw some speculative hope out there?

Was thinking the same as the both of you. This is hugh for the Rams. Esp with the thin crop this year. I'm not too sure about Bruce's health. Maybe he just took what he could to not be a cap casualty. He may not have been able to do better. Plus his playing time will decrease which may help him play longer.

That would be nice too.
