I know everyone is going to use the excuse of injuries but this past week is a perfect example of how it comes down to play calling and not injuries.

The rams had every opportunity to win that game but Linehans play calling cost them the game.

1st and goal from the 4 with 1 minute left and 2 timeouts. A backup QB and a pro bowl RB, what should you do?

run,run,run,run

throw, throw, run

Even my 8 year old son asked why they weren't running the ball?

Linehan has been a joke since he came to St. Louis. He has turned this team into a laughing stock and deserves to get canned.

I would agree, but is he responsible for the play calling? Are the plays run though him via the OC or does the OC speak directly with the QB?

In a bold move Linehan took over play calling from his OC early in the year to send a message to his team. If you remember, Linehan was the play caller last year in the beginning when SJAX was struggling. He then handed over the play calling to his OC Greg Olson who had a direct impact on SJAX blow up 2nd half. So this year he starts off as the OC calling all the plays and they struggle b/c of the OL and Linehan decides it's time to take back the play calling, only to put the team right back where they were before, in the trash can.I honestly believe that Linehan takes his cues from the crowd. If they have a lead and run and get stuffed a few times the crowd starts boooing and then linehan will call like 15 straight pass plays. He's a joke and the team will NEVER go anywhere with him as HC.
