I had intentions of doing a 45 min tempo run. I got on the treadmill and gradually increased speed for 15 mins. At 15 mins I I went to 8:27 pace and I did that for 15 mins. I was feeling gassy

At 30 mins I started to decrease my speed and I wanted to decrease all the way to 45 mins but then it happened. I always felt like it was just a matter of time. Today was the day I sharted on the treadmill in LA Fitness

I knew I was gassy but I thought I could make the full 45 mins. At 35 mins something just did not seem right. I hit the stop button and started the fast walk to the locker because I suddenly felt like I was gonna assplode. The smell was not good and I am hoping I made it through quick enough that the odor could not be pinned on me. I got to the locker room bathroom and sure enough I had sharted :XTook me a while to clean up and I just threw the chonies away. I was pretty stealthy and I dont think anyone knows. It was nasty. I seem to have GI issues when running in the afternoon. I have had several close calls. I may just start taking immodium at noon.

The good news was an 8:27 pace for 15 mins is really good for me.
