Between BnB's "stream of red ..." and RoarinS's "boobified" running buddy, you guys are quite entertaining today!
My work week has included a 55 minute swim and three runs.
The swim was great, featuring 10 x 100 yds @ 1:52-1:54/rep with 20 seconds rest (for you swimmers), then additional easy laps to round out the time ...with a foot cramp then a bad leg cramp near the end. Good times.
The runs were a 5 miler, a 6 miler, and today a 5 miler with 5 qtr mile long-striders (one stride per sidewalk square).
20 mile runs: I like to do some repetitive loops just to add the mental discipline of having to keep going when it'd be so nice/easy to stop early. But I'm stuck in the city, so it's not like I have any scenic options.
Oh, and I turned 53 today.
