Random Charity: Lets All Fight CF Today (1 Viewer)

This is kinda random. I wanted to do something charitible today. Being a Redskins fan, I've had a negative autumn, and I just want to shake it off. I've noticed in a couple of threads that a few fellow members have kids with CF (Cystic Fibrosis). I grew up knowing a kid who had it, but fortunately no one in my family ever has.

This is a disease that I believe will ultimately be curable. And hopefully sooner than later. So, maybe if we all kick in some of our league/daily winnings, that cure gets here one or two days sooner, and a couple of lives are saved, and many are improved that much sooner.

When I woke up this morning I had no idea that I'd be giving money to fight CF. So, pretty random for me. I just came across a post in the Phenoms thread about someone finding out 2 of their kids had CF and decided today would be a good day to try and do something good. Especially since what happened with the whole Phenoms thing is pretty terrible... felt right to counterbalance it imo

A lot have given to that charity. Finances may be tight for some so close to Christmas to donate to another right now. An A for effort and intention though. Merry Christmas.

Hulk - thanks for setting this thread up. I know a couple of folks with CF and will try to remember to donate after the 1st.
