4 wide with Moss, Driver, Jennings, and K-ROB (back in Sept)

L.J. in the backfield

Young and improving offensive line

Solid DEF. led by Hawk and Barnett

#4 behind center

Throw in a TE and a safety in the draft and the PACK is contending THIS YEAR!

It that was the lineup..they would contend. "If"

FYI..from Foxsports...for what it's worth..

A source outside of the Chiefs organization informed Scout.com’s Warpaint Illustrated that the Packers have offered their first overall pick (16th overall) and fourth round pick (112th overall) in this weekend’s NFL draft for RB Larry Johnson, who is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent after the 2007 season. The Packers are seeking a running back to fill the vacancy left by Ahman Green, who signed as a free agent with the Houston Texans in March. Johnson, who turns 28 on Nov. 19, reportedly wants out of Kansas City, and the Chiefs are unwilling to meet his contract demands that exceed the eight-year, $65 million deal that league MVP LaDainian Tomlinson received two years ago. It is believed that Johnson wants an eight-year, $85 million contract. If the Packers and Chiefs agree on a trade, it is likely that a verbal agreement on a contract between Johnson and the Packers would have to be in place.

Interesting..

Big Chiefs and LJ fan, but the team would be better off increasing that deal to a 1+3 and taking it.

Two firsts, a second, two thirds, two fifths, two sixths and a seventh, plus more compensation likely on its way for Trent Green... is exactly what this team needs. Especially with a guy who can evaluate talent in Herm Edwards calling the shots.

I would love to see LJ get 4 helpings of the Lions and Vikings. He would probably pummel Bears as well ;)

You see 2 games against the Vikings as a good thing? Did you watch teams try to run on them last year? Take a quick little look at the #1 rushing Defense from last year, you may be surprised.

Donkey.

With GB's pick of a DT, Moss and LJ are still in play.................
What does $50 buy me of the stuff that you are using? I wouldn't mind an afternoon of walls melting, Jim Morrison and Abraham Lincoln solving the Middle East crisis, and the Vikings being NFC competitors again.

Apparently Moss would rather go to the Patriots. . . . .I can't see him being in a system that spreads the ball around so randomly. . . .I'm not sure I can make an argument that the parkers would focus more on him, since it's no surprise for Favre to hit 6 diff targets with his first 6 passes. . . .but it still surprises me that he would rather be in New England

It surprises you that Moss wants to go to a better overall team, one that has a legitimate chance to compete for a Super Bowl?
