Coulnd't agree with you more. Guys like Barry Sanders and what could've happen to Moss make me think players should have more say in their contracts and the ability to opt out. Moss has done alot for the NFL, and I'm glad he landed in New England, Moss and Brady WILL BE one of the most highlighted dou's of all time.my favorite player ever. guy has been in NE for 2 seasons and already has an 8 minute highlight video. glad he got out of OAK and got rejuvenated, it would've been a shame to finish his career t here.
although it's hard to be amazed at some of the things he does at times because he makes it look so easy.
it was like playing madden all year for themThe scores of those games are just hilarious...

Agreed. That play he beat the Jets defenders it looked like he was simply jogging past them while they were working their hardest to keep up. He makes it look effortless.Highlights from Fitz, CJ and AJ often look more impressive than what Moss does but this is the paradox. Most of the time he just looks like he is jogging and has some evil power that makes defenders suddenly unable to stay with him, unable to jump, and unable to get position. Somebody mentioned it already, but the prototypical highlight is Moss beating triple coverage vs the Jets. He just glides by defenders.Once in a while, you'll see him make a seemingly more spectacular catch when he reaches out one or both of those long arms, but more often than not its just Moss jogging away from or casually leaping over the best DBs in the league. Only two WRs I've ever seen where that's the impression you have are Randy Moss and Jerry Rice. And yeah I took him at 1.10 and am pretty happy about it...lolz.
I did find it interesting that about 90% of the time it's #12 throwing him the ball - when 50% of the games he's played as a Pat have had Cassel as his QB. (and many of Cassel's passes were WR-screen stuff). While I certainly agree that Moss is one of the best WRs to play the game, the fact that he has a passer with Brady's accuracy deep certainly helps.
Well, those were all TD passes on the highlight film save 2 or 3 catches. He had 23 of those with #12. He had 11 of those with Cassell. So yes, he was going to have a lot more with Brady. And, it wasn't 90% of the time.I did find it interesting that about 90% of the time it's #12 throwing him the ball - when 50% of the games he's played as a Pat have had Cassel as his QB. LOL UCB and I were just talking about this the other day. There have been wrs who were tall and ran 4.2-4.4s but Moss is just something different.I guess it's like watching the 100- 200m now with Bolt. He doesn't look like he's trying harder but he just continues to stretch his lead. And believe me track guys are FAST!!! I guess every decade or so you have one of those athletic freaks that you just can't explain.DUDE is AMAZING.Wonder what he runs in the 40 right now. Those are nfl corners that cant keep up with him. I know other 4.3 guys and they dont be burning corners like that constantly.
Each playing 16 games...which kinda supports my point. The QB was the only major difference between the two seasons. Moss was the same WR. Relax - it's not taking anything away from Moss. I'm just pointing out that if you look at some of the "Best WRs of all time" - and you take a peek at their QBs, they tend to be pretty good too.Rice (Montana/Young)Well, those were all TD passes on the highlight film save 2 or 3 catches. You must have not watched moss in minn. Brad johnson, a very old randall cunningham, jeff george and that other guy I forgot his name... initials BB I think. You only need to be able to throw 40 yards high and deep down the field to be successful with moss, something cassel could not do last year to save his life.DoubleG said:Each playing 16 games...which kinda supports my point. Harrison (Manning)
Moss (CPep/Brady)
C. Carter (W. Moon)
T. Owens (Garcia - when he was very good/McNabb/Romo...now Edwards?)
late comer to that show but man i can't wait for this season to start.Anyone know the story of the hand gesture he does after TDs?It kind of looks like what Leon told Larry David to do if he needs to throw down with a skinhead from last season's Curb. (Sorry but I don't think it would be appreciated if I post a link for that here).
"Hello! You PLAY to WIN the GAME!"[/herm]"...and crush the souls of your enemies into dust."[/bB]@ Brady fake spiking it then lobbing it to Moss for 6.... WHEN THE PATS ALREADY HAD A 200 POINT LEAD.
It's essentially Peek-a-boo. Not joking.Anyone know the story of the hand gesture he does after TDs?

I think that's how Leon described it to Larry too. It's essentially Peek-a-boo. Not joking.Anyone know the story of the hand gesture he does after TDs?
