About to be 2-9. 6 losses in a row. Replacement is either Crabtree or L. Moore. Following up my Moss pick at the turn with D Williams didn't help. Then grabbing Ocho, Crab, Celek, Favre, Cutler and Spiller didn't help either. The All Bust team. I average about 12 leagues a year and have finished outside the money twice since 1997. I thought Cutler/Favre at 10/11 was genius.
Anyhow, back to Moss. I haven't said it since 2006 and that may have been the only time. Always liked Moss. But he appears to be done. I can't defend him anymore. What has happened? Father Time? He looked pretty quick on his routes earlier in the year. The guy can't be happy. 3 teams in one year. The first one to ditch him broke his heart. I think he's recovering. It's hard to get by without the Brady love every morning. May sound crazy but he appears to have PTSD. I don't think he'll ever get over the Pats. Breaking records with Brady. Playing for a yearly contender who also happen to look like one of the best teams THIS year. Coulda just kept his mouth shut, waited to see what the Pats would do. Evaluate how important it is to get up in the morning knowing within an hour you're going to be in the midst of hunky Brady and the genius. Becoming his own agent might have been the worst decision of his career. Has anyone who did not suffer an injury, some sort of scuffle or off the field behavioral violation seen his own value plummet in such a short time as Moss has? It's been unreal. Open Market next year what do you think his largest offer would be? 1 yr 2M? Some incentive-laden contract like the Pats wrote him up on?
Thing is, you just know he has the ability to turn on those jets and burns DBs with his speed, height and reach. I don't believe in the span of a few months he lost everything. What he has lost is his heart. Belichick stomped on it. All you clowns that think he broke down physically I challenge you to step to me. I'm tired of hearing it and I'm pretty sure I could krinkle just about any one of you.
Try me...
