Randy Moss week 5 (1 Viewer)

Do you think Randy's apathetic attitude for his team the past few days will keep him unmotivated this week and hence a lackluster performance; or is the San Francico's weak pass defense which averages giving up 226 yds/g to tempting?

His apathetic attitue the past few days? Try his apathetic attitude the last 2 years!! Sure San Fran has a bad pass D, but so does Cleveland, and you saw how much he was used in that game. I see the Raiders pounding the ball with Lamont Jordan. Stay away from Randy Moss until you see something productive out of him. That is unless you like 1 reception, 6yds, and 1 TD performances from your WR's? :bag:

The Browns defense last week was a good matchup for any passing attack and the Browns had several injured defensive backs as well. The Raiders also had a bye week to game plan and prepare for that game.

Randy Moss 1 catch 5 yards.

If not for the TD Moss would have next to worthless again.

I don't see this matchup as being much of a improvement if any.

Some positives are Walter now has more experience as does the offensive line which has been terrible.

Randy Moss is the kind of player that matchups don't really matter. He is capable of blowing up against ANYONE if he wants to.

I am one of the biggest Randy Moss fans around but honestly he seems very unmotivated and I am looking at any other Wr I can start over him until I see that change if it does.

I expect Lamont Jordan to have a good game against the 9ers but I don't have confidence in Randy Moss right now. I hope he proves me wrong but the matchup doesen't really matter beyond what kind of pass rush the opposing defense can bring.

That Moss hasn't been catching any underneath passes or intermediate routes or anything really is another reason I have no confidence in him.

Why couldnt have gone on his radio diatribe before the season - wouldn't have burned 3rd rd. pick on him! I also heard in one of the broadcasts that Art Shell brought back a couple of offensive coaches (including maybe a coordinator?) who hadn't been in the league for the last few years - also info I wish I had picked up on before the season! :bag:

Eff Randy Moss, for the 2nd straight year he drives me to . . . :banned:

I am a huge Raiders fan (not too proud at the moment) and I am starting Mason, Reggie Williams, and A Bryant over Moss this week.........go Niners!

Just traded him for a warm 6 pack of Busch Light and an open bag of stale Doritos and feel I got over.

you see this?

Keyshawn on Randy:

"Randy Moss wanted out of Minnesota? Oh well," Johnson said. "Four years ago, he was the best wide receiver in the NFL. Now you can't get a pack of gum for him."

Did I miss something? Is there some other Raider WR catching alot of passes? What about out of the back field? Hmmmm... Moss isnt the problem... Moss is tired of the problem...

Whats the problem... its gotten so bad it's hard to tell... The OL, the QB "lack-of" play, the play calling, the OC, the head coach...

At least Moss isn't sitting around happy about the Raiders play...

Thank Al Davis for digging up Art Shell from 6 feet under... And who puts a OC job posting at a Bed and Breakfast???

Jerry Porter didn't like what he heard from day one... And fantasy owners haven't liked what they saw from game one...

Moss isn't an angel, but he's not the issue... he's just tired of the issue

Moss' issue is his attitude. It started when he was in Minnesota walking off the field when in Washington when they still had a chance to win. Moss does not care about football right now. I'm telling you, Randy Moss will never be the same guy. He's not getting any younger. It's a shame he had to go to Oakland because I think he could still be productive somewhere else. However, his attitude sucks, so it's hard to feel bad for the guy.

From a Huntington native, I must say that two months ago when Moss came back to Marshall (for like the 2nd time since he went to the NFL) he seemed more mature, confident, and looked like he had finally changed. This was before the season started of course, which leads me to my conclusion...

If you played for the Raiders, Al Davis, Art Shell, and their ancient OFF coordinator...would you not be going :loco: ? Brooks had the right choice..."hurt" yourself on a snap. Honestly I think if I played for the Raiders on gameday I would be on the bench enjoying the comedy. :banned:

How quickly you guys bail. No doubt, Randy Moss is in a terrible situation but he isn't injured. I'm not benching him against the 49ers sad defense...especially for some of the crap wide outs listed in this thread.

So you would put him ahead of Bryant and Reggie Williams? I don't think so........
