I think Randy Moss is a Top 5 WR in term of talent. He certainly can help a lot of team. The only thing he need is a decent QB. And I hope (and think) he will not be a Raiders next years cuz I want him on my team (Packers)

Will he be a Raider next year? Maybe......I honestly don't think Davis will cut him, and he won't trade him for a simple bucket of warm spit. I might trade him for that, but Al won't.

Do you want him on your team? As a Raider fan.................NO! His act is stale. I honestly think New England would have been good for him. Then again, it would be nice to see Favre have fun the next few seasons.

"it" is very subjective.

Does he still have talent? Yes.

Top 5? I would not go that far.

Would I want him...for the right price, yes, I would take him in Green Bay...but not to be a #1...but a #2 to Driver.

The answers are in the gray between the two poll options.

Does he still have it? Depends on what "it" is. Is he the same player as he was from '98-'01 or so? No. He never will be that player again. That doesn't mean he couldn't be a great playmaker if he can avoid injuries.

Will he be a Raider? Probably not. It looks like they are shopping him, and I doubt with his attitude, Davis will sabatage a new young coach, but it is Davis, so anything is possible.

Would I want him on my team? Well, my team is the Vikings, so the answer would be no. We have a young QB that needs to develop. That's not the type of situation Moss is going to suceed in. If my team was on that was in a good position to make the playoffs, but needed a playmaker at the WR position, not necessarily a horse at the position, but someone to stretch the field and make a big play, I would definitely want him on my team.

Still has 95% of the talent. It's just very doubtful we'll ever see that translate onto the football field again.
Agreed - he's still young, so there's little doubt he has the the talent. But hasn't shown it in at least 3 years or so. In his case, it's much more about desire than ability.

Randy days as a productive FFL player are over especially in oakland.

Even if his situation changes, I think he's lost some of his love for the game.

And thats one thing about TO, he brings it every single game/play.

We need Randy Moss to have a "Pro Day". We need to see his current measurables. His 40 time, his vertical jump, his three cone drill, and his bench. His tools have been off display so long they are a complete unknown at this time. Of course the problem is, even if Randy agreed to perform for the man we would not know if he were motivated or not were the numbers less than spectacular so some would claim he still has it, he just didn't display it.

Wow, a lot of Packer responders to this poll.
 at how blind/bitter/shortsighted every single Vikings fan is.
:banned: Just a general observation that Moss' current talent does not carry a 66% approval rating, and there's no way 50%+ of NFL fans would welcome him to their team, IMHO. Maybe I'm wrong; I can only speak to his 0% approval rating and the "wouldn't touch that %#*@ with a 10 foot pole" responses when I try to obtain a sack of rocks for him in my dynasty league. I'd assume I'd be quite able to trade him to 50% of my league members if this poll was an accurate reflection of the masses. Unfortunately I have no Packer fans in my league.

Yes Randy still has it! I think your all see Brett bring the best out of him. He will go after Favres toss ups. They will develop a special connection.

No he won;t be a raider. He will be a PACKER for Bretts going out party.

Your all going to be surprised this year!

 Moss' problems are not the lack of a decent QB but rather lack of drive and motivation. Even if he were hooked up with a good QB like Favre, if the team starts losing or Moss isn't getting as many looks as he thinks he should get, he will be taking plays and games off like he did in Oakland. I believe that he is a top 5 talent and I am holding on to him in my dynasty league as his upside is huge and is trade value is low, but my expectations are low.

Bed and breakfast OC? Art Shell? Brooks? Walters? Come on, I'll give him a pass on most of that.Everyone wants to win, and there was 0 chance with the Raiders. I think Moss will have a new lease on life.

Not to be the grammar police, but the poll creator needs some remedial English training.

I could see it as a situation like his rookie year, when he was pissed he fell so low in the 1st. He said his goals for his rookie year were to "rip up the NFL." If he reads all the bad press he's getting, doubting his ability, I'd wager if he landed in GB he would feel some similar motivation. Not that he'd rip the league up like he did as a rookie, but he could exceed expectations. Either way, we'd find out pretty quick I would think.

It has been too long since I've seen it, so until I do, I say he hasn't got it anymore.

Randy Moss minus that extra gear is not an elite WR. Just doesn't do enough other things well to compensate.

I think everyone who answers this post must say whether or not they are Moss owners before answering. I have yet to see any quantifiable stats saying whether he still has "it" or not so all we have is a bunch of people who are giving their opinions. I would like to weed out the Moss owners that are trying to convince themselves and everyone else that he is worth whatever they paid to get him and look at those who don't have this guy on a roster.

And more to the point, can someone please give more quantifiable answers than "he's lost his drive to play the game." None of us knows if that's true. It's pure conjecture.

Talk about how his numbers dropped in half a couple of years ago, stayed at that level another year and then dropped way down again and that he is on a downward slope in terms of on the field stats. Talk about his success with strong arm passers (well, one strong arm passer) and what he could do in a situation with a guy with a cannon. Discuss that Jamarcus Russell has said cannon and could be a good fit for Moss....Just don't try to tell me what's going on in Randy Moss' head. If you know what's going on in there you are a truly messed up individual....

I am not a Moss owner... but here's how I voted:

Yes he still has it - the only concern I have with Moss is if he gets injured, but I think he has played the injuries for all they were worth in OAK because he was sick of the team.

No he won't be on the Raiders - because he's sick of the team, and someone will want him.

Yes - He still can help my team, because I think he is still a tremendous deep threat, and paired with a solid possession WR he will be very good.

Depending on where he ended up I would try to trade for him. I will say that he will quickly tire of Favre's erratic passes if he lands in GB. He wants to play where a QB can hit him on the numbers in stride more than once a season.

I think he has lost a little love for the game but playing in Oakland will do that to a person. If he can get on a new team with a winning attitude and where he knows they have a chance to compete every week he will BRING IT. I would take him on my team (JETS) but I know that wont happen.
