Randy Moss (1 Viewer)

OK, I see Randy Moss is on the injury report with a back issue. Is there anything to this? I've been told its a fairly serious deal but I don't see anything official...Not like the Pats would let anything helpful on the injury front slip out...

Too soon to tell on Moss for this week.

I was under the assumption that he was fine after practicing the past few days, but I was just told that is a premature conclusion.

I still would expect him to play, but even I admit I'm intrigued at this point as to what the deal is.

Brady is done.. Moss got his contract.Look for Randy being Randy very soon.
Yeah, kind of what I was afraid of. Explains why I was approached for a trade. Someone wants to trade me Moss and another player for Gore...Was thinking no before simply because of the Brady injury...Now its a definite no..

Even more interesting . . . he's not even on the injury report. This means he will definitely play, but I wonder why someone gave me a heads up on this one. I will file this in the "things to follow up on after this week" category.

Sounds like he's sore and banged up a little but will play through it. We'll see what sort of pounding he takes this week and if there's more to this.

Something smells funny about this. And, of course, it's a late game. Considering putting Cotchery in for Moss.

Hmm, I can't see benching Moss when he's not even on the injury report with some "soft" news like this. I'd rather gamble and take the 0 if need be, but that's just me. Will be interesting to see if this turns out to be anything.

If you are in non PPR, you are crazy to not make this trade. Non PPR I'd rather have Moss over Gore. PPR it's about even.

Wouldn't Moss rather play harder to win a SB without Brady? He's clearly the star of the team now and if they win a title he's going to get most of the credit.

Not if he thought it was a lost cause.

Why would he think that?

Lost cause in week 2 on a team that went undefeated that plays in the AFC East?We have different definitions of "lost cause". The only "lost cause" I can think of with the Patriots is "the other team 'lost cause' they couldn't cover Moss".

Thanks David...look forward to your updates and insight.

I really want to see how he and cassel work together, but I'd really like to try to move him before his stock drops too much, for a #1 rb who started out slow.

Like moving turner and moss for sjax and braylon or something

If the Pats drop a couple of games I definitely see him reverting back to the attitude he had when he was in Oakland.

let's not get crazy. Is he going to revert to Oakland Moss now? NO WAY....he knows his legacy is on the line, and now, my guess is he's thinking of carrying this team on his back. You think his best friend Tom would let him take a year off? They have the easiest schedule in history, he's a team leader - more of a team player/leader than T.O.

Cassell is going to look for him in the red-zone often, why not.....endzone might as well be called his office.

Just thought I'd bump this on the outside chance there's any news this morning. I've got a nagging feeling that Moss is gonna burn some people this week (including myself) with a late scratch or an early exit. Hopefully it's just gameday paranoia.
