Not sure if this will have any fantasy ramifications coming up this week like a possible benching...

We all know that Coach Bill is capable of anything...

Patriots send four home after weather-related tardiness

10:41 AM Wed, Dec 09, 2009

The Patriots have sent home four players who were late for today's 8 a.m. team meeting because of the traffic issues the weather has caused.

Randy Moss, Adalius Thomas, Gary Guyton and Derrick Burgess were told to go home and cannot participate in team meetings or practice today. It is unclear if there will be further punishment or fines.

Does Bill know Fantasy playoffs start this week.... :lmao:
Luckly for me mine don't start until next week and the last game of the season for me is pretty much a non-factor but I do worry that the "I don't give a ----" Randy Moss will re-appear and give me a fantasy dud next week.

Complete non-story. File it under "Brady throws team under bus" in terms of importance.

Call me crazy, but coming off of two tough losses and looking to get back on track to secure the AFC East division, I seriously doubt Moss or anyone else sits out because of tardiness to a meeting due to weather-related issues.

I cant believe they expect him to rush to team meetings in bad weather.... doesnt he already have a history of running over pedestrians?

I think Bill is trying to rally the team after a disastrous last two weeks.

Also, I hope Brady realizes how much Moss (I own him, so not very objective :lmao: ) has been wide open every week. I don't watch a ton of NE games down here in NC, but the 4 or 5 I have watched a lot of have had at least 1 or 2 wide open long TDs where Brady either threw an awful pass or was too late and just didn't throw it. Brady seems to be relying way too much on Welker when Moss is absolutely open on easy TDs. In 2007, Brady seemed to never miss a wide open play. I remember 2 or 3 weeks ago, he even missed a wide open Moss (took a sack waiting way too long) when they had max protect and only Moss running a route. It was like Brady was gun shy and decided to not throw it to an open Moss on a play that was designed to throw it to him.

Brady has missed an open Moss at times, happens to every QB almost every game. However, Brady has been forcing it to Moss too often instead of progressing down to other receivers.
