At Strong Safety for the Lions?

I'm really high on this guy for some reason. Thoughts?

He's not starting. CC Brown is getting the start. Phillips is the primary backup for both Brown and Delmas for the Lions though. I really think he'll be taking over for CC Brown at some point this season though.

Phillips has been listed as the starter on the FBG's depth charts for a little while.

I have no idea about any fbg depth chart, but the regular depth charts I saw had cc brown at ss.

I'm shocked. But if he can't play in Detroit I just have no idea where he can play. I'd like to see Miami pick him up as a developmental player.
