Rank these LB's for dynasty purposes (1 Viewer)

I'm sure you know that our staff rankings can be found here, but I feel compelled to post that I can't see any way to rank DJ Williams below Ahmad Brooks or Lawrence Timmons (and maybe every other player on this list) today unless you're going strictly by birth date.

Hey Jene, Is it set in stone that DJ Williams is a lock for MLB or is there a possibility they bring someone in that can fill that role?

No, it's not set in stone. At this point, though, I don't know who would come in to play the position. My read of the draft plan and signings of DD Lewis and Warrick Holdman is that they believe that DJ Williams and a replacement level two down SLB is a better alignment than Nate Webster in the middle and Williams outside in this particular scheme. So I think it's pretty safe to work under the assumption that Williams will be the MLB for the foreseeable future. If it were set in stone, I'd argue that Williams should clearly be at the top of this list. Even as a three down SLB, he may still have better value than Brooks (who's not guaranteed a three down role and will still have to earn the MLB job -- he essentially has similar positional questions to Williams today but has never proven himself over a full season as Williams hass) and Timmons (who may never end up in a Tampa-2 WLB role). The other three listed seem to have a line on a position with IDP value.

Jene, unless Williams is liberated from the SAM then he will continue to be a mediocre fantasy LB. My ranking is based on fantasy upside only.If Brooks takes over the middle he has alot more upside then just about any SAM in the league. And Timmons has an opportunity to play a 'Derrick Brooks' role. Unless I hear that DJ is in the middle he stays at the bottom of my list. And don't know how it could be otherwise.

According to this, he is going to be in the middle.
