No Steven Jackson? No TO, R Williams, Harrison? I don't see Burress or S Moss being that high

I honestly think you can take 5-10 on the RBs add Westbrook, Dunn, McGahee, and the Jones boys and tier them together.

Very confused by this list of receivers! First, You have S. Smith #7, did you happen to see what he did to the Ravens yesterday? Yes they are a top Defense! I would not have Burress number 3 by any stretch of the imagination, D Jax is def. going to lose balls to Branch and I don't think he will be 2, but could be top 10. How Roy Williams and Andre Johnson are not in your top 10 is beyond me? And also TO has a better chance of being there than Walker IMO.

Dude, I could rip anyone's Top 10 as well. Where's yours? And the question was from here out. I don't want players on loosing teams. We also didn't discuss scoring system, starting quals, etc.Deep breath. Drink the Decaf. :)
Your list is whacked though :)

I'm sure it is, I put it together in less than 10 mins. I pay the $29.99 just like everyone else so I don't spend days making lists. Just hoping for open conversation to tweek the list and that's what I got (also kills some time). At least people are giving reasons and opinions.
i like your list. i have 2 of your top 10 RBs and 3 of your top 10 WRs, sweet. i hope you are right!

Just imagine if someone started this thread in late August and some clown decided to put Berrian in his top five. Or TJ Housh ahead of Chad.Point is, why bother arguing with someone else's projections? It's all just a crapshoot.

Well why bother making lists if we can't discuss them?

Gee, this is fun, let's all make a list and post it so we can all look at it and not comment.

This is a discussion board, not a list making board.

The guy brought up some questionable wide receivers he had in his list. No need to attack him...how about trying to educate him. Or try to explain why you would have such outliers in the list.

When someone leaves out a Harrison, or has S Smith lower than most would...don't get all offended when someone questions it. Back it up. Maybe you're right, maybe not. That's not the point though.

personally, i think you guys who have berrian in the top 5 are dreaming. the guy has had a few good games and all of a sudden he is better than steve smith(after what smith did yesterday) i realize that no list will be perfect, but i cant believe how quickly some of you are guzzling that kool-aid

Thanks and here's my reason for leaving out Harrison. Indy hasn't shown the high-powered offence they were with Edge so the WR are getting covered more. Also, I worry about WRs with bad hammys and Smith has two bad hammys.
See, now that wasn't too hard :) just kiddin manI worry too about hamstrings, but man, he is damn good. Steve Smith is a legit MVP candidate, he really changes that team.

Michael Clayton '04 = Berrian '06

:checkslist:Whew, good thing I had him at 6. :rolleyes:After Holt and Smith things are wide open at WR. Heck, there are at least 5 more WR I could argue should make my top 10 but didn't.

Since I dont have any PPR leagues, heres what I think for standard scoring

RB

1LT

2Portis

3Rudi

4Parker (Its about time ppl quit bashing FWP and respect he's got game)

5LJ

6Ronnie

7Westbrook

8SJax

9Gore

10Tiki (almost Deuce or KJ, but Tiki will get some TD's sometime soon)

WR

1Holt

2Smith

3RoyW

--from here on out, I find it pretty difficult w/o PPR and considering how many surprises are high now and how many preseason Top 10's aren't in the Top 20, but here it goes--

4DJax

5Burress

6Colston

7Owens

8Boldin

9Andre

10Houshamazoo

And like I said, after looking through all the posts, Id say only about 1/3 had Willie Parker in their top 10, and most who did from #8-10. I can see a downgrade from #4 where I have him for PPR leagues, but in my leagues he's currently #4 and thats without the ground game really even getting going until yesterday, the offense in disarray, and playing teams like SD and JAX in their first 5 games. Besides LT and Portis, Id say he's the only other Top 5 lock (except in PPR leagues)

YOUR LIST SUCKS! YOU SO STUPID! :D Just kidding. It's not easy I know. You want to look at the numbers, but then you find it hard to leave a guy like Chad or Harrison out. Since you have Chad in front of House, I'm guessing your more of the "outlook" type. I haven't seen enough to call him the "out right go-to guy" this year.
Agreed, but I am just going forward saying Chad has to get it going. He looked good yesterday, they just were not near endzone enough. I don't own the guy in any league, I just like him.

For those of you that have Rudi in your top 10:

Do you still have him there with the loss of Levi Jones and the possible return of Chris Perry? Does his line woes change your ranking?

From week 7 onwards...

Thanks.

I hear Lamont Jordan is going to be a stud.
