Ranking Changes Based on Recent Announcements (1 Viewer)

It normally takes a few days before all FBG staff updates their LB rankings. I would like to know by how many spots you are moving Gaither, Beason, and Willis based on the recent annoncements (and from where to where). I just want to get a feel of their revised consensus ranking / ADP for drafts in the next few days.

Gaither: I am moving him from about 50th to about 25th

Willis: from 25th to 20th

Beason: from 35th to 30th

All rankings are approximate, based on redraft not dynasty obviously.

I think Gaither has a real shot at being top 15 this year. Sure, Trotter was a beast in the middle, but Gaither makes up for some of that with his ability to go sideline to sideline, and he will be in on the nickle. 4-3 MLB's are still king of the linebackers as far as I'm concerned, in particualr when they are every down backers. Yes, there are the exceptions, but I still call them exceptions... not as bankable as a 4-3 MLB.

I agree he has a shot at top 15, which is why I will move him up to about LB25. I am assuming that does not mean you will rank him LB15. Where do you have him right now?

I'm in the skeptical camp on Gaither. I am not overly impressed with his talent and wasn't impressed with him last year. I see players who will be every down LBs like Landon Johnson, McIntosh, Thomas Howard, etc...and I think all are better than Gaither. I can't put him above them and they are all in the mid 30's. I question how effective he will be in the nickel packages. I think he has top 25 upside...but he isn't there yet in my opinion.

Just one man's opinion here. I need to see more than I have.
