Ranking RBs (1 Viewer)

Rank the following Running backs in order of how you would want them on your bench in a keeper league. It's a one point ppr league. I've got Chase Brown and Bucky Irving in the one and two position. I will keep at least two of them. Three at most.

Pacheco
Etienne
Bigsby
Benson
Ekeler

As disappointing as he has been lately, I feel like Pacheco is the top choice to keep. Etienne and Bigsby scare me. I almost feel like if I keep one I should keep them both. I love the prospect of Trey Benson. It feels like there is no way James Connor goes another full year without getting hurt, but then again he might. As old as he is getting, Ekeler just feels like he might be the most reliable choice of the bunch looking at this year alone.

There is a scenario where I can keep them all, but that feels like an awful lot of questionable RBs for one roster.

What does "keeper" league entail? Meaning, how long can you keep these guys and how many players do you get to keep year to year? Is there a cost (round lost, salary, etc) associated with keeping them?

All things being equal and viewing them for this year only here is my rankings:
  1. Pacheco - he is running well and looked good in pre-season. He is the #1 guy with little competition. Can be in your lineup every week
  2. Bigsby - I think he gets the bulk of carriers in Jax. He played well last year and I think his role is what it is.
  3. ETN - Like you said, if you keep Bigsby I keep ETN. Why not?
  4. Ekeler - this is from the view of this year only. I think his role is safe (until he gets hurt) but should be productive until that happens
  5. Benson - Needs something to happen in order to be relevant.

We can keep them for free and as long as we want. No penalties. The only negative would be they are taking up a roster spot that could go to someone else. We can keep anyone drafted in the tenth round on. So Ideally, I would keep Nine players total and save one pick for the tenth keeper round. (We have 19 roster spots)

I'm keeping Murray at QB, Brown and Irving at RB, St Brown and potentially Thielen after the trade today, and Tucker Kraft. That only leaves room to keep three of the above if I want to keep my tenth round keeper pick open. I do think Pacheco is a lock for the third RB spot. I suppose Etienne and Bigsby are the way to go and then see who has the hot hand before I actually need to play one of them.

I wouldn't keep Thielen. I would rather have the RB's because of their upside. Thielen's upside is capped. If you are thinking of these guys beyond this year then it comes down to dropping one of the old guys (Thielen or Ekeler).
