Should move to 5-4 after this week and be in 5th place. Six teams go to the playoffs. The league is a 2 QB, .5 PPR, re-draft league (10 teams). We start 2 QB, 2 WR. 2 RB, TE, Flex (RB/WR/TE), K, and DEF. My team is as follows:

QB - Kirk Cousins, Derek Carr, Brett Hundley, Teddy Bridgewater

RB - David Johnson, Alvin Kamara, Christian McCaffrey, Chris Thompson, Lamar Miller

WR - Michael Thomas, Deandre Hopkins, Corey Davis

TE - Hunter Henry, Jimmy Graham

K - Butker

DEF - Jacksonville

Our trade deadline is this coming Saturday. Are there any moves I need to make before then? A little concerned with Cousins and his o-line/receiver situation and tough schedule the rest of the way. Would ideally like a 3rd solid WR behind Thomas/Hopkins but holding my own so far. Will help in return.

Who is your normal (non-bye weeks) flex? Do you ever flex a TE?  Is there anyone out there who needs a TE?  Now that Henry and Graham have both had their byes I'd try to move one of them, maybe package one in a deal to upgrade somewhere else.  The problem with trying to acquire a WR3 though is that you're either going to have to give up Miller/CMC to do it, or maybe part with Carr which leaves you thin at QB.  A package of Henry + Davis for a better WR isn't going to buy a whole lot I don't think.  But don't let that stop you from finding a TE needy team and offering Davis + Henry to see if they'd be willing to part with a Benjamin/Funchess/Hogan type receiver.

I don't play in any 2 QB leagues so you'd know better than me, but is it really necessary to roster 4 QBs?

Hey Wheel... thanks for replying to my question. I have limited experience with your type of league, which is why I hadn't already answered, so pardon if this advice might not be the best.

Looking at your team I think you have some solid chips in play. It's a shame about David Johnson because I think you might be a league leader if you still had him.

Your RBs look good, I love Kamara and think McCaffrey, Thompson and Miller offer great depth as PPR guys (even at .5)

Your WRs are shallow as you say, but Thomas and Hopkins have excellent PPR value. I'm afraid of where Hopkins goes from here rest of season, and coming off a 36% target share you may want to see if you can't move him for a different piece. He just doesn't sit as safe to me rest of season, of course, he still has big value so I wouldn't give him away. But maybe look at the AJ Green owner, they might be disappointed in his last few weeks, or even Mike Evans. Keenan Allen seems to be a candidate for a big second half too, he's had almost no touchdowns and I have to believe they are coming. He also dominates targets.

QB has probably been a weakness for you this year, but to be honest, aside from the brief explosion of Watson and the ongoing wonderful play of Wentz, Dak and Russell Wilson i don't know that there are any major studs to be had. In a 2QB league I can't imagine there is much on the waivers, so your addition of Bridgewater was excellent, and even Hundley might bounce back and turn into someone worthy of a start or two.

If I were you, I would focus on adding depth to your WR corps, I don't know who is out there, but I can say that riding two rest of season seems risky. Trade pieces you may want to consider moving around to attract a trade Kirk Cousins, Chris Thompson, McCaffrey (not both RBs though), and Hopkins. If you were to move say Hopkins and McCaffrey for Keenan Allen and another quality WR it might work out nicely.

Good luck rest of season.

My normal flex is one of Kamara, McCaffrey, or Miller. I've never flexed a TE but if it was the right person, I could. One owner in my league offered Greg Olsen for my David Johnson. Maybe that's a route I take. Then I could trade Graham and use Henry until Olsen is back and then I'd have greater value to trade for a WR with Graham.

Also, it's a 2 QB. Quarterbacks are capital and trade bait - especially as injuries mount.

Yeah I know it's 2 QB.  What I meant is, you're "wasting" a roster spot on a 4th QB that you'll likely never use in Bridgewater.  If he's got trade value, then I'd try to do so.  I'd rather use that roster spot on a WR personally, but I don't play in any 2 QB leagues so maybe it's normal to roster 4.  I totally get rostering 3, but 4 seems excessive IMO

You're correct, totally right to roster 3. I have Bridgewater on my roster as a long-term QB for the rest of the season and will drop Hundley or try and trade him. I got Hundley in a trade yesterday morning so that's why I presently have 4 on my roster and I have Carr on a bye in Week 10.

Try and trade David Johnson to the Peterson owner for a WR. I'm in AZ and Johnson is unlikely to produce anything this year. He is really dropable but I'd throw it out there and see if you can get something for him. I'm also on board with wlwiles in dropping Bridgewater for any WR. Even if he is healthy and playing well you are probably going to use Cousins and Carr for the rest of the year.
