So many people like to brag about how tough their league is. They claim their league is full of Fantasy Footabll geniuses and love to bash on anyone else's league that has less than all star GM talent.

So, I'm curious .... what is your league size and, be honest, what is the ratio of smart competitive owners to average owners to knucklehead / homer owners.

My league:

10 Teams

6 competitive owners / 3 average / 1 knucklehead ( although looking at his roster this year he actually falls into the average category )

Dynasty league . . . it really is a great league . . .

11 great teams, and the other team's best player is Priest Holmes . . .

This is a tough question because I believe I'm smarter that just about anyone in my leagues. (Smarter, not a better speller or typist.)

Dynasty league with ten teams.......

1 SHARK, 4 well informed,5 Guppies or casual players.

$$$$$$$ league with 14 owners....

7 SHARKS, 4 well informed, 3 Guppies.

Ive won the Dynasy league one time in two seasons and the $$$$$$ league twice in 5.

:hey:

10 team keeper......9 good owners, 1 less good owner

16 team redraft......12 good owners, 4 less good owners

12 team redraft......12 good owners, some more informed than others, but it's a solid group

12 Team Friends league- oldest league - 7 very competitive, 2 average and 3 real bad. This is going to be a very tough league for me to win this year

12 Team CBS league - just joined for sh*ts and giggles - 3 competitive, 2 average, 7 really REALLY bad.

I had left the "friends" league for a couple years and i was surprised a little by how well most people drafted. It used to be easy pickings, but no more

16 Team Redraft

9 Competitive :argue: Very involved, heavy traders

5 average  Just shows up to the draft and plays their team each week, little trades

1 tough-luck owner  One of their major studs gets hurt EVERY YEAR (6 years running)

1 rookie (can't judge him yet) :kicksrock: By the looks of his drat, donation

I dunno, I have found that active trading doesn't always mean more knowledgable (just more active)Those guys that trade for the sake of trading are the guys that usually make my team stronger. But I can appereciate your point of view, it is good to have owners that are active as opposed to absent.

I'm in an 8 man league with friends. Yeah, I know it's a small league but thats the way we like it.

1 shark, 4 above average, 1 average, 1 guppy, and 1 new to the league and FF.

14 team aucton, redraft, $200 dollar cap, 18 roster spots. Been in existence for 14 yrs, I have been stuck as commish for 14 yrs.

4 sharks - heavy study and knowledge of all nfl rosters and news, solid auction strategies, very active traders

7 good owners - working knowledge, of the nfl, put in time and effort on auction strategies, make some trades

3 #### talkers, think they know it all, no auction game plan, little knowledge of nfl rosters, besides the studs. End up over bidding on top studs, no knowledge on sleepers or cash to put anything around their 3-4 studs. Will be gutted, when their teams fall flat on their face by weeks 4-5. trade out of desperation, with no leverage.

4 owners in for 14yrs, 2 in 10yrs, 1 in 8yrs,2 in 6yrs, 1 in 3yrs, and 4 new guys.

12 team keeper league thats been around for 13 years

1 owner has dominated

9 owners always put up competitive teams

1 owner always gets laughed at after his drafts but always seems to make the playoffs

1 owner who always has the BTOP (best team on paper) but hasnt made the playoffs in a few years.

We were lucky enough to weed out our knuckle heads several years back

12 team redraft started in 1991 when I joined. I didnt like the way it was run so I staged a coup the next year. Been commish since.

I run it with an iron fist and the rules have evolved to eliminate all jackassery. I am hard but fair.

The owners fear me because I wont hesitate to replaced and inactive/clueless person. So right now I have all great, active, obedient owners

That is actually a good idea but since it has already been used how aboutThe Rise of the 4th Reich

12 team 5 man keeper league with friends 13th year. Evolved from our previous league. (before moved online)

7 sharks 5 less interested owners . 2 pretty clueless.

The biggest bafoon in our league ( a drunken friend who challanges everything and the loudmouth of the league) actually won the league a couple of years back 2002. Everyone here preaches the importance of running backs and this guy won it with what we call "The minimall running back theory". One playing running back on his roster (Warwick Dunn) and got lucky with his WR and QB (Amani Toomer and Kerry Collins) matchups during the playoffs. For years now every stupid thing that comes out of his drunkin mouth is followed up with "Are you a champion, cause I am"

Do they draft exactly who you tell them to draft? If not, you should consider cutting back on their kibble until they get with the program.

league #1 - 12 teams - 7 sharks - 4 OK owners - 1 dip #### (Big money league)

league #2 - 12 teams - 3 sharks - 7 OK owners - 2 dip ####s

league #3 - 12 teams - 2 sharks - 5 OK owners - 5 dip ####s

Local league - Redraft - Total Points - 13th year with alot of long time owners

2 - Sharks

2 - Jr. Sharks

5 - Average to below average

3 - Idiots

The worst part is some of these owners are bottom feeders each and every year, but they never change their ways. This is a $300.00 entry fee league as well. I don't get it.

I'm in ToCoL, which features a bunch of prominant posters here and elsewhere in the FF world. 14 team dynasty league that's been running for 5 years now. It's a very balanced league, and every owner is sharp, except for TTAC. But there is always one black sheep in the family.

In two money leagues.

First one has sharks through out (12 team league) with nobody every repeating as champion and no real "wow look at his team". I have the best team in that league in everyone's opinion, and that's because I got lucky with Lundy (first team in sig).

Second one has a couple of Jr's and one average, but the rest are sharks. Draft didn't go as well here and I probably ended up with the 3rd or 4th best team (second team in sig).

Last year I played in a league with a bunch of guppies and I'll never to do that again. Sure I enjoyed the easy money, but I'm not in this for the money.

No, they have the freedom to draft who they want. But, if they pick someone that is already taken... Not good

12 team league - all sharks

8 team league - college buddies 4 sharks and 4 I'm here for the beer and talk trash

12 team league - 6 sharks 4 solid and 2 magazine drafters.

Different kind off scroo. No cure

12 team redraft. This is our 4th year. Most owners have been with us 3 or 4 years. Only one new owner this year.

2-3 sharks

3-4 well-informed, pretty good owners

3-4 casual, decent owners

2 semi clueless, but trying

Everyone stays pretty active all season. Not much trading, but a lot of WW activity. I've won the league 2 of the first 3 years by pulling off some trades that worked out well for me so people are a little leary to trade with me now.

12 team, keep 1, friend/smack talkin' league that I am the commish/founder. $50 entry.

7 guys that are on it and keep up.

1 gal that is on it, but still figuring the FF thing out.

2 rookies that look like they are going to figure it out.

1 guy who has yet to draft from a cheatsheet of any kind, who likes to talk ####.

1 guy who barely logs in to submit a lineup who drafted Big Ben #2 overall last year. He did better this year though.

The horror that befalls an owner that picks a player already taken is too graphic for this message board.

Sounds like a fun league.

The group I commish is 10 STRONG owners

My office league is also 10 players, but only about 3 sharks, with 3 more in the average category and about 4 guppies.

My 16-teamer is very active, no dead weight. In fact, we've had owners leave in the past citing the "over-competitiveness" as a reason for doing so. But this is not the same thing as claiming that we're a particularly strong league; interest level is not necessarily commensurate with skill level. Actually, I think my owners like our league because of its activity and the resulting fun in interacting with the others which, again, is not the same thing as being good at the game. We're probably ok, nothing to write home about.

18 year, 12 team redraft. There are 4 very good players, the rest are average or better (though a couple are loose cannons). the newest member has been in the league for 5 years (& was expeienced before joining).

16 teams - salary cap, extended contracts for keepers (max 3), limited cuts, unlimited trades, PPR, 1 starting QB,RB,WR,TE,K+2flex.

12th season - 11 charter teams, 5 "newbies" youngest is 5 years in league, all local/friends.

Very competitive, many rivalries - mostly fun smack, with occasional tense moments.

One owner has won 3 titles, two have won twice, five others once. One charter owner has never placed in top 3.

Overall, our league is very active - trades all year long involving players, draft picks, cap money, and rights to cuts. Draft day is a holiday for us and we schedule in a pair of league BBQ/game watching days during the year. Most of us have been friends since high school (or childhood in some cases) and that history makes it a pretty tight group - it also elevates the trash talking level to include topics like "You will fail again ... like when you fumbled away our championship senior year" and "I'll embarrass you ... even more than when your mom caught you spanking it" and "Oh yeah, well, when I went out with your wife, she was much thinner", etc.

12 team, redraft entering its 14th season.

8 of those teams have been in it the whole time, 2 have been in it for most of that time and we have two spots that seem to rotate every few years and we pick up new owners.

Only 1 owner has multpile titles (2) so i would say it is an overall competitive league.

Honest assessment -

2 Super Analytical, very savvy owners

4 above average owners who would fare well against just about any competition

4 average owners

2 complete idiots...though one of them is the luckiest sob alive and usually finishes close to .500

10 Teamer.

I rate the league 7 in overall difficulty.

1 Supreme Shark (yeah, that's right)

3 Lesser Sharks

1 MacArtist

1 Guy Skating By on Three Solid Keepers

2 People Who Utilize ESPN's Draft Tips

1 Unimpressive New Guy

1 Insane Screwball
