Ravens vs. 49ers (1 Viewer)

Calling that 2nd timeout was a killer still had a chance to win it there 3 plays from the 5 just couldn't get it done.Good game.

That shot of Willis (or Bowman) on the bench through the blizzard of confetti made me laugh out loud and scare the dog.

Really seems out of character for Jim Harbaugh too, to get 5 yards away from the goal line and not run the ball.

Flacco's agent should get John Malkovich to call up the Ravens owner with a "Pay that man heez money"

Lost game when passed on second down. You have three downs to go 5 yards with a great running QB, great RB and great oline. Run every time.
Agreed. On the 3rd and goal where they had to take the TO, I really think Kaepernick was going to score on that sweep to the left. The way the alignment was set up the seal should have been there.

The team who has played the Eagles in the Eagles home opener has gone on to win the Super Bowl for four straight years now.

Refs missed a blatant hold by the punt protector there that allowed the Ravens to eat up an extra 4 or 5 seconds there.
The clock doesn't stop the second the flag is thrown so it had no impact
:goodposting: That hold was so blatant it was obvious they were told to do it. There are penalties against the defensive team when they are losing at the end of a game to prevent stuff like this, but none that I know against the offense. Somewhat of a loophole I guess. Smart play by the Ravens.

A holding in the end zone would have resulted in a safety. Wouldn't have mattered.

Good game, lots of plot turns. Ravens stiffened in the redzone but for the life of me I don't understand the 49r's play calling down there. I know it gets congested by nature, but they went against what was already working for them. On most QB's I don't mind rollouts by QB's, but Kaepernick doesn't have to do that. You've just cut the field in half - advantage Ravens. They are going to second guess that play calling all the way to training camp.

10 yds and more time on the clock does matter.

What 10 yards and what extra time?

Anybody else throwing Boldin a vote for MVP? Flacco was awesome but Boldin made some of the biggest plays in the game. What a postseason these two had.

Flacco 11 TDs and 0 INTs in the playoffs. Pretty amazing. And the dude was gunslinging it a bit. Not like they've been playing super conservative. And Boldin's hands should be dipped in gold. Some CLUTCH catches all playoffs long.ETA: those 11TD passes ties Montana and Warner. Not bad company to have in a contract year :)
